FirstYear - Baby feeding timer, sleep, nappie log

This is a must have app for newborns. Has been so helpful in relaying information to doctors to see trends and patterns in sleeping, feeding, toilet. Also has been a lifesaver in recording milestones which I’ve been meaning to do in my journal and just never get around to it. It allows you to upload a picture and leave a note associated with milestone. Truly a great app I’ve come across and will be recommending to friends and family who have new editions arriving earthside shortly.

I used this app with my first child (4years ago). I have come back to it with my 2nd because it was exactly what I needed then and now. I love this app and recommend it!

I love this app for recording feeding. But also for recording those special moments that my baby brain would probably have caused me to forget otherwise.

I downloaded 4 different apps to test which one is better and this app is the best one. It allows you to record everything and you have control to manipulate the data after the fact incase you had entered it in incorrectly. I love it! I rely on the app more than my memory haha

Helps me keep track of day to day activities, love the at-a-glance check of when my baby last fed/had a diaper change/ slept. The timer for breast feeds and sleep are amazing. Love how easy to use it is, and how flexible it is to add different options. Highly recommend.

Such a handy app. Especially in the beginning when running on little or no sleep. My partner and I both use the app and our data synchs - a critical aspect.

First Year has really helped us keep track of how often our baby feeds, sleeps, needs a change and more. The ability to update the records from both of our phones is great when on of us is asleep or has both hands full with baby! I highly recommend First Year to new parents - nurses and doctors will be impressed when you tell them exactly how many nappy changes you've done in the last 48 hours just by checking this app. The user interface would be better if it followed Apple's guidelines more closely and was more similar to other iOS apps. The timer recording features take a bit of getting used to at first - we weren't confident that we could start a breastfeeding recording and then keep using the app for other things without interrupting the recording. It would be nice if the reports were prettier - some "baby" templates would be very attractive, perhaps even as in-app purchases.

I am now using this app for the second time with my second son. I am again finding it very useful and am surprised by the wide range of things that can be recorded and the ability to adjust most details as you require. It is very well thought out. I mainly use for feeds, but also I log when I bathe him, when he does a large vomit, today I put his weight in. When my son is older and his sleeps are more defined, I will use it to log those times too.
