We love our Aquanta. However, today the app is down and going to their website there is no contact information listed when you click on contact. Your app is down-please FIX IT! Update: Within 12 hours they had the app working again and I was able to log on with no problems. Awesome service on a Sunday! Thank you

I installed this device at the beginning of 2024 and have been watching my water heater usage go down each month. It’s been very helpful in conserving energy!

So far is woking well anxious for next weeks

I really like this product but the app could provide more info including real time data of when the heater goes on and off and how much energy it is using at different times during the day. That way we can find times when we can save energy or lower usage.

After having the Aquanta unit installed for a number of years it worked very well, began experiencing with the unit not maintaining connection. Did everything in troubleshooting and followed on lines help to reconnect. Switched wireless services and still cannot connect. This is installed in our cottage 3.5 hrs from home so we are rarely there on weekdays, customer service is only available weekends; not helpful in getting issue resolved.

Never got it going. No help provided in spite of request.

Unit worked as promoted for first year, then somehow got stuck in program mode, green lite continuously flashing. Support gave instructions on how to get it out of program mode but to no success. Still works just doesn’t show when heating mode and when in stand by. App is same, won’t show water temp unless taken out of manage mode. Also the utility plans provided are out of date, support said they update often but in 3 years APS plan has never changed and is not used by me.

A lot of apps (such as this one) feel that they can manage the usage for people, but they can’t. And they lack the flexibility to to allow people to define the best plan for themselves. I have a solar plan and couldn’t find a way to manually set a time-of-use plan. So today 11/1 is the date to switch to winter plan. I missed to change my manual settings, and I will have a high demand charge this month. :-(

So far this device and app are working for me. I do think it would be better if the app functionality works explained better. There’s not enough information on the intelligence mode.

The System worked ok for the first year we’ve had it. Difficult to program and some times has a mind of its own. I used it mainly as an on/off remote switch but it is not simple. The first time I set up the system, it was well laid out, step by step, instructions with no issues. A year later we had to change out router password and as expected, the system dropped off line. However, all of their contingencies with step by step instruction fail to get the system back online. I am writing to tec services to see if they can be of any help.
