AroundMe allows you to quickly find out information about your surroundings.
How many times have you found yourself in need of finding the closest Petrol Station?
AroundMe quickly identifies your position and allows you to choose the nearest Bank, Bar, Petrol Station, Hospital, Hotel, Movie Theatre, Restaurant, Supermarket, Theatre and Taxi.
AroundMe shows you a complete list of all the businesses in the category you have tapped on along with the distance from where you are.
For every listing you can choose to see its location on a Map, view the route from where you are, add the information to your contact list or even email the information to a friend.
The Nearby listing allows you to find information using Wikipedia about what is around you.
Fast, easy and accurate. AroundMe is your ideal day to day companion.
NB: When AroundMe Weather push feature is active the app make a continue use of GPS running in the background that can dramatically decrease battery life.

I got the free app. I'm sure there is more great stuff in the paid version. And i am sure there are other similar apps to do the same thing. But even so, i downloaded an interesting, easy to use, pleasant looking app that stole my attention, even if i was at home in my home town. I'm sure it is very helpful when you are traveling to an unknown place.

But i can not use this aplication. To add a new place you hava to install the upgraded soft wich cost money. And it keep the location icon turned on even if the aplication is not open not even in the background. Is a battery comsumer. Ideea was not bad but in the mean time i will use Waze to find anything.

In proporție de 90% găsește tot ce este in jurul meu fie ca sunt baruri, hoteluri, benzinării etc.
