App No Longer Opens
It used to open and was usable but not anymore. I’ve deleted the app, reinstalled it, and still it doesn’t open. Well, when it used to work, it was good, a little slow to open, but otherwise functional and frequently used. I’d like to get back to using the app instead of logging into my account via a URL. Any help on how to fix this app problem?
Refuses to open!
I love the connection to my library system but if it won’t open it is useless!
Doesn’t work
Doesn’t ever load past logo screen, useless
Cannot place holds
Is there such a monopoly on library software systems that they don’t have to put out a quality app for patrons to manage their accounts? This app is extremely slow, spits out the same factoids at every open (honestly not a dealbreaker, but I’ve read about the oldest library approximately one million times), and most recently (but for months at this point) the app has been rendered useless by its incessant request to “enable notifications”. It doesn’t matter if notifications are turned on or off, you cannot get past this screen to put anything on hold. Yes, I can go to the library’s website, which I assume is powered by the same software that runs the app. It is usable but just as clunky.
Libby is better
I wish my public library would’ve gone with libby/overdrive instead
Works great!
I really appreciate how easy the app is to navigate. I can create lists and see where books are at my local library. I can place books on hold and renew them immediately, which I LOVE.
There is something I would like to see that would turn my 4 stars into a 5 star. When I place a book on hold, I would really like to know where my place in line is. For example, am I next to receive the book or are there 12 people in front of me?
Just some thoughts!
Unable to find correct location
On android and iOS this app can’t find my library using my location and the searching doesn’t return it either.
Hardly ever works
I wish they would fix this app so it’s actually useful. It crashes often, doesn’t load pages, and almost never lets me place a hold on a book. The only thing it’s good for is seeing what’s available at my local library. And if I want a book that’s somewhere else, I try to place a hold on the app (usually doesn’t work) or just have to actually go into my library to have them find it for me.
The worst
This is the worst!!!😤 It alway crashes!! Do NOT recommend
Not happy
The app does not retain my account data. I have to find my library and enter I’d and pass code every time.
