ASUS Extender

Okay let’s be honest here this app is a pile of crap. The app crashes so many times setting up a devise is frustrating. It done my head in setting up because it crashed so many times I got angry the room was full of profanity and I was so angry with ASUS because as usual they released an app that is so buggy and glitchy as a Network Engineer I know what I’m doing but let me give you some advise. Do the basic set up via the app do the rest via the interface on your laptop you will have to download from ASUS Discovery which you can get from their website.

Whilst going through the wizard it crashes inputting info.

It keeps popping up a window that says I need to turn on location settings for it to be able to map my devices. The exact message: “ ASUS Extender needs your location permission to find ASUS router(s) in the environment. Please go to Setting -> Apps -> ASUS Extender to allow access to this device's location.”

Crashes instantly when you attempt to do anything. Last ASUS product I’ll buy Sending the Extender back.

Always crashes when I try to connect to the extender on app. Useless

All this app does is crash. ASUS really put the D team on this one. Complete dog water. Fix this garbage or let me add the extender via the ASUS Router app which actually works most of the time.

Constantly crashes impossible to use.

Please update your app, it constantly crashes.

Despite extender being within about 25 ft of an ASUS AX Wi-Fi 6 node which runs at 500Mbs extender runs at 0.02Mbs and when trying to diagnose extender app usually crashes within 5s or so. FIX IT !!!

When I get to the screen where I type in my existing wifi network to connect to, there is no way to proceed. I can type in my wifi password but there's no next button.
