Audiobook Player SmartBook

The app works great but if I pause for a moment and hit play again, it will seek backwards to 10 or 20 minutes and continue playing from there. It takes me a lot of time than usual to get through a whole audiobook because of this. Sometimes, I’d just leave it at that and listen to the parts I have already listened to a day ago. I dint recommend paying for it.

A very good application to listen to audiobooks the smart way, though, would’ve loved it if smart pauses was also a free feature, but the developer’s also gotta make money so it’s all good

This application is really smart and I think it’s one of a kind in the AppStore, I imported my audio book files here and using it daily.

I like to import my mp3 files and listen to them. SmartBook is by far the easiest app to use. The way of transferring using the website is clever and works very fast. The app can also find png’s in order to have a book photo which is nice. It also knows the order of your book spot on. Overall does everything I need :)

Wanted to love this app, but unfortunately, when I pause from the Lock Screen, and then switch over to the actual app (or Vice-versa), it does not remember the pause location, and I’m reverted back to the previous position. It’s quite frustrating, especially since there is no option to add a bookmark to get around that issue. It defeats the purpose of having an audiobook app if I have to search for the position I left off at every single time. I do appreciate that this app is offered for free! Also, I like that the audio settings (speed and volume) carry over from Book to book—I don’t have to reset it each time. And it’s great that there’s no time limit on how long of a book I’m able to listen to for free.

The app is great with its set of hiccups. It does remember where you left off and fairly easy to download apps. The hiccups consist of the app crashing when deleting audiobooks, sometimes uploading, and sometimes glitches on playback if you're not in the app itself. So far it’s tolerable since its delivering what i want. I’ve listened to more audiobooks everyday than i ever had before and i am truly over the moon happy. Just looking forward to an update to fix the bug issues

This is by far some of the buggiest software I have ever spent money on. Sadly there are no good alternatives. But stick with the free version. The developer obviously has no interest in maintaining this product.

Even with paid version smart rewind doesn’t work correctly. Tech support is not existed.
