Great app
A great app, to be honest it is worth upgrading to the Pro. This works fine on a 2022 iPad Pro. I bought this because Cubasis 3 doesn’t have time signature and tempo tracks, this does. So for editing midi the Pro version is great.

used to be great.
Been using this app for a few years on and off, was always pretty good. Recently updated my ipad, audio interface and upgraded to AuriaPro. Nothing but problems, to the point of not being useable. Does not work properly with Audiobus, cliches, bugs, crashes, recordings lost. Feel totally ripped off.
Upgrade is not recognised
Did the in app upgrade to the pro version. Other family users are only able to install the standard version, the pro upgrade is not recognised. Even on my own second iPad, only the standard version works, the upgrade is not recognised.
Excellent studio recorder
Auria has been an excellent studio recording application. I have been using it plugged directly into a PreSonus AR16 to record live performances. It has a clear, simple and effective interface. The UI on editing is clear and simple to grasp and provides very good functionality. It is great to have the AAF for swapping files overseas and working globally vi a drop box. Excellent product. Well thought out and designed. Wish Apple would acknowledge it. I guess they have their own product, but it does not match.
Not happy
I never really used this app, because it didn't have a piano roll or a built-in keyboard. Now they fixed all this, but instead of updating the existing app they released Auria Pro and the upgrade is almost as much as buying it. Just proves they don't give a damn about customers and it's all about $$$. What's next Auria Platinum $99?
Does a great job but l see the potential for future greatness
I've only had it for a few days and l must say it is a joy and is conducive to composing editing and mixing all to high standards of quality. Only thing to be mindful about is because it offers much you do need to understand a few things about it settings in regards to the use of use Audiobus vs live A/D sources which are many considering it's an app not a desktop DAW. Sonically the inc plug ins are great and the paid in store ones and equally amazing. I cannot wait for the Auria Pro upgrade it will make this a real benchmark as a fully featured contemporary functional IOS DAW.
Needs major updates
Auria is good but unfortunately cubasis Is now a better alternative. Auria gets expensive due to inapp purchases. Doesn't play midi like cubasis. I would go with cubasis due to it having more features it comes with. Auria will cost you much more in the long run and is also limited in features.
Awesome
Auria is a really good professional quality DAW with a great selection of VST plugins available. Nothing touches it for sound quality on the iPad. The developers really listen to the rapidly growing community around this app. I'm more than happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a serious recording/editing/mastering solution.
It really is as good as it's been promoted!
Whilst I may not be a professional musician these days I can honestly say this app is truly amazing. So much control and now with Audiobus integration (which was a feature I was seriously hoping for) it's even better! Worth every single cent.
Major flaw
After sitting through the torturously slow installation i cannot close the final screen (touch to close the tutorial). Tried twice with no apps running in the background, restarted iPad and tried twice more to no avail. I am already feeling fed up with this app as you must sit through the installation screen each time, so i have wasted half an hour trying to get this running. Given the premium price of this app i am quite disappointed to have already encountered such a major bug. About to try reinstalling the app, but considering i just downloaded it that's a bit of a joke.
