DEVELOPER RESPONSE TO ANY OF US?

Crashes too often to report details. this one’s great-promising program will be a big expensive mistake and I will never buy anything from this developer again.

Used to be good…

Now, it crashes all the time making it useless to use. Needs an update real fast.

Recording features that are really stupid

It’s a great DAW, don’t get me wrong. But making music by recording is much more confusing for me. I can only record on one track of the same instrument (drums for example) and it annoys me. Even if I make all tracks of that same instrument, it still puts all the notes onto one. Track. Why is this? I mean...I’m recording on the device that I have more DAWs on..so maybe the interface is going into a nuke signal which then will blow up Auria Pro for this reason and just doesn’t. Want. To. Record properly. So...I hope that’s enough bullying and more sense to fix this (please do, cuz I want to record properly) and have a nice day! Cheerios, Gabriel

Great until it started crashing constantly just editing a basic voice memo

EDIT: As you can tell by my initial review I was very excited. Still a good app but is now crashing so much it’s almost useless Old review: This is the real deal. I haven’t been able to get into the studio to mix so I bought this to do some small clean up and whatnot before the “real mixing”. I’ve now done 3 mixes of a tune that are getting better and better and I’m beginning to think the studio mix will just be for finishing touches! The included mixer with a proper channel strip and some nice reverbs makes it easy to get a good sounding mix. I’ve been mixing for years and have used Pro Tools, Cubase, Reason and Harrison Mixbus and this app is definitely holding its own. Well worth it

Great iOS DAW

This DAW as all the functionality of a desktop DAW. The best on iOS for mixing mastering. If you get some crashes. Check the plugins ( IAA and Auv3) your using one by one until you find the one crashing your project.

ABSOLUTELY terrible

I wanted to love this daw so bad, on paper, it has everything you really need in a iOS daw. But thats on paper, hardly anything works as it should for a reliable amount of time. I was running on a 2018 256gb iPad Pro 12.9 inch, and i would get NUMEROUS crashes during my projects, it would just shut down, deleting tracks if its a big project, crashes it automatically. I just bought the brand new 2020 iPad Pro 12.9 1 tb, AND SAME THING CRASHES ALMOST EVERY SESSION, so i know for sure its not my device. midi editing is terrible, no detiail at all, the piano roll seems like it was built when iPad was first introduced and has not been updated since, very outdate, and sluggish compared to almost every other daw. I have to admit right now on ios there is no perfect daw sadly they all have there misfortunes, but this one is the most expensive and is easily the most problematic as well. The new midi routing works with only a handful of apps, the other ones will only record a couple notes, i could literally right a few paragraphs of all the problems and frustrations this thing has caused me

I’m loving this app. It’s like having Pro Tools with me everywhere. Sure it’s a lacking little features here and there like playlists but a lot of what I do in my professional DAWs is available. Also it has lots of high quality purchasable plug-ins. Very impressed. Hope to see this app develop further.

Phenominal

This software (pro version) is fantastic to use! Im an amateur and have only scratched the surface of this program and it's an absolute blast to use!!! Works great in conjunction with other guitar pedal apps, drum machines, etc. I can't believe it's so cheap for the powerful software you get. If you're serious about recording and mixing your own music, get Auria pro, you won't regret it! Great program to grow into over time as well. Massive 250 page user manual is amazing too. Really well thought of all around, cheers!

Bug with Audiobus
