It seems to work OK

Yep, Avira seems to work okay.

Abysmal service

Avoid at all costs. The amount for annual renewal was debited from my account with absolutely no notification and no opportunity to make any change or stop the payment from being taken. A totally underhand and unacceptable way of managing customer accounts. Needless to say I have terminated my account with immediate effect.

Great when works.

I don’t know if it is when I’m not on the ball, sometimes when I’ve not been active on my phone and taken precautions such as vpn ect my phone acts glitchy. Making me think someone has access my phone through an app when I’ve been unawares. Web protection is on so I doubt it’s through a website as all visited are well known and safe anyways. Scan my emails regs. So I am left wandering if there is a back doors through apps?

VPN does not work- only Safari supported for Web security

Have subscription Pro version. iPhone 12 Pro latest iOS and Avira app. 1. Web protection only works on Safari, not other browsers. Bad functionality. 2. VPN Pro- cannot choose country, only frozen option is nearest location. 3. VPN Pro- sometimes frozen in connected position cannot stop it anymore. Requires full switch off of Phone.

VPN feature is bugged

The VPN feature suddenly turns off by itself while you’re browsing which is pretty unsafe if you’re using public wife. On top of that, if you purchased this app on the Apple Store, you aren’t eligible for a refund. I just wasted £22.49. Don’t make the same mistake as me and avoid this app at all costs.

Multi device log in problem. VPN CUTS OUT.

I’ve knocked a star off because I’ve logged in on my iPhone, but when trying to do so on my iPad I just get the spinning wheel in the middle?? All of my devices need to be secure or the App is useless. UPDATE. VPN KEEPS CUTTING OFF? A refund please?UPDATE!! I’m still unable to add my iPad? Customer support is merely a list of FAQ,s 🥵 come on Avira you can do better than this?!?!
