Welcome to the official Balatro mobile game!

Hypnotic and endlessly satisfying, Balatro is a magical mix of card games like Solitaire and Poker, that lets you twist the rules in ways never seen before!

Your goal is to beat the Boss Blinds by making strong poker hands.

Find new Jokers that change the game and create awesome and exciting combos! Win enough chips to beat tricky bosses, and find hidden bonus hands and decks as you play. You’ll need all the help you can get to beat the big boss, win the final challenge, and win the game.

I ask you, when was the last time you saw a game with this many reviews carrying EXACTLY 5 star reviews ON AVERAGE?

I've seen people compare the brilliance of this game to something like Tetris. And I agree with that. Its gameplay mechanics are really simple to get into - albeit hard - but to master it will take hundreds of hours. In fact, my grandmother who has never played a digital game in her life sans the NYT ones, plays this now. And she's 92 years old. And she's good.

Easily the best part about this game is the sheer number of ways you can break it. You think to yourself: "I wonder if I can do this with the cards I have?" The answer (bar one exception that will be patched soon) is always, ALWAYS yes.

In short: Play this game. Play it yesterday, in fact.

A beautiful, single-player, offline, roguelike, deck builder was something I always wanted. Something I could play at my leisure and it had a lot of variety so every time I play it’s different. I just didn’t know it would be a poker like game! 

This game is hard but enjoyable. I’ve only beaten it twice so far but every run I have enjoyed it. The music is one of the best soundtracks I have heard. I love the mysterious vibe I get from all the card designs. The bosses are challenging which is great. Feels almost souls like. 

The game is super satisfying and fun when you have things going your way. It’s a game I didn’t know I needed until I played a demo of it on the arcade subscription. After playing it, I immediately went out and bought it! 

Keep up the great work, you have created something special here and I will be playing on and off for many years to come just like Minecraft. 

I already got my girlfriend to buy and play it and she’s hooked. Even my mum is interested in playing.

I bought this game against my better judgement. I personally don’t enjoy card games except in real life. So when I heard that “this” game one GOTY I was stumped. So I bought it to give it a go. The first few games were good and I kept playing to see what people were going on about. Everyone claiming it’s addictive and the best game ever. I’m very easily pleased but I fail to confirm the hype. Indie or not. $15 for this is not worth the price tag. Game has less depth than “schedule 1” very disappointing game. Wish I could get my money back tbh

I’ve now bought Balatro on 3 platforms and for both my kids. It’s a great game and has become a fun experience to share with my family. I really don’t understand why it’s been classified 18+, as despite being a game with poker and chips in it, there is no gambling involved. I’ve played lots of other games specifically targeted at children with far more predatory in-app purchases and pay to win mechanics, so I think Balatro deserves to be re-classified to around 12+. If the developer should ever read this, you deserve all the praise and appreciation you’ve received the world over! It’s a great game and it’s heartwarming to see a game developed by a single person be so successful. Thanks!!
