I’m guessing fake reviews
I bought this game against my better judgement. I personally don’t enjoy card games except in real life. So when I heard that “this” game one GOTY I was stumped. So I bought it to give it a go. The first few games were good and I kept playing to see what people were going on about. Everyone claiming it’s addictive and the best game ever. I’m very easily pleased but I fail to confirm the hype. Indie or not. $15 for this is not worth the price tag. Game has less depth than “schedule 1” very disappointing game. Wish I could get my money back tbh
Cloud save can break the game
I can’t get passed the cloud save part even after reinstalling.

I’ve now bought Balatro on 3 platforms and for both my kids. It’s a great game and has become a fun experience to share with my family. I really don’t understand why it’s been classified 18+, as despite being a game with poker and chips in it, there is no gambling involved. I’ve played lots of other games specifically targeted at children with far more predatory in-app purchases and pay to win mechanics, so I think Balatro deserves to be re-classified to around 12+. If the developer should ever read this, you deserve all the praise and appreciation you’ve received the world over! It’s a great game and it’s heartwarming to see a game developed by a single person be so successful. Thanks!!

Sound not working
Was loving the game but suddenly the music and sound effects have stopped working. Tried restarting and everything.

Started on Switch and have completely moved to iPhone, it’s that good.
I’d really love to see the dev add a “restart” button to replay the mode whether it’s standard or challenge. This would be in a new randomised seed.
Right now, to restart a challenge, you have to click options > new run > challenges > start new challenge > page 1 > page 2 (optional) > play.
Could just be click options > restart.
Anyway, the game and dev are incredible. Can’t wait for the big update!
