Baldur's Gate

there's no sound after recent update, cant play BG without the sound!

So I haven’t played in a long time, but BG3 got me back into the spirit. And I went to boot BGEE only to discover all the dlc says “buy” instead of restore. I was sure I had, but I went to the App Store and it lists all of it as purchased, but in the game it’s “buy”. Great game but it seems like it has locked me out of the portraits and the newer characters, and I don’t know how to get them back... apparently beamdog was fixing it in 2.6, but it’s November 2023 and it looks like 2.6 was never released. Sucks for those of use who spent the money to support this title. Any fixes for iPad?

Support could be copied froM the ps version

Tutorial dialogue box blocks the “Done” button on screens where you inspect abilities. This makes it impossible to progress without resetting.

Although I have purchased both characters some time ago, and they are listed as purchased at the App Store, the game says I need to buy them. And in fact when I tried to go to the app problems area it told me I haven’t even bought the app. As this is my favourite game, I find this all perplexing. Other than this recent glitch it is a fantastic game.

I have an ipad pro and this game crashes constantly in the arena playthrough. Had to abandon my game as i could not get passed the confrontation with the necromancer summoner. In the black pits if you somehow manage to kill the necromancer, Baeloth fails to teleport you after one of the battles anyway - making the black pits completely broken.

Only thing missing is cross save with Mac or pc. Great game, solid port

I was loving this game but after a couple of hours the dialogue box wouldn’t minimize and the game was basically unplayable. Half the screen was dialogue box and it won’t go away!!!!!

The baldurs gate games are in my oppinion, the best mobile games ever! I love every one! I only wish there was an update with more races and companions and maybe better graphics

Baldur's Gate is the original true DnD (ver 2) RPG. If anyone gives this a bad (3 star or less) review... they are no doubt upset that "the game" doesn't allow their favourite mage to wear full plate armour. I still have the original boxes... just like NWN its real D&D. Yes, the graphics are dated (that 8bit is all rage lately lol) - but its about the story line and the musical score with the very realistic background sounds. Its tough, intriguing and a wonderful story. Well done Beamdog on a good conversion.
