Baldur's Gate

This game is so bugged and hard to play that if I've known that I'd never have bought it. This is nothing like the PC experience. And worst of all the devs made the game, applied one patch and then walked away with money in their pockets. There is just so much to fix to even make the game playable. Just save your money for something better :)

This game is totally unplayable on iPad without a mouse. You loose your sanity while trying to lead the party without a mouse! Save your money for some other game!

A good old PC game but a poor port to the IPad. Controls are totally useless and make the game unplayable. A very disappointing experience. The multiuser game is a sad experience because of the missing mouse. Still a 100% pc game. Not recommended.

Peli on parhautta, bugeja siellä sun täällä, mutta on syytä muistaa, että niin oli siinä alkuperäisessäkin pelissä. Voi jospa vieläkin tehtäisiin näin hyviä pelejä, jotka surutta pistää turpaan kun vähänkin keskittyminen herpaantuu. Dragon Age Originsissa esim. pystyi taistelun ajaksi lähteä jääkaapille ja silti voitti melkein tappelun kuin tappelun. Innolla odottelen jo, kun BG2 saa saman käsittelyn.

Selvästikin viiden tähden peli, kunhan pahimmat bugit hiotaan pois. Uutta päivitystä odotellaan kuumeisesti. Siihen saakka pistin pelin jäihin.

Voi ei tämä on hyvä peli mutta iPad versio kärsii pahasti siitä että peliä ei ole optimoitu kosketusnäytölle ja maagin aoe loitsut laittaa uuden iPadin jumiin.

This is the first and only game I have bought for iPad. The game is five stars absolutely, and the experience on iPad is fine. Targeting is tricky in some places, but can be used to. There is no competition in Appstore for a game in this scale and quality.

The interface doesn't work in battles. Selecting targets is too difficult, and the game doesn't give any feedback, whether or not the selecting was succesful. So, instead of tactical, the battles are merely chaotic trial-or-error randomness. Casting spells is also unneccessarily difficult. When casting a spell from quick spell slot, there is no way to tell, which spell is which, unless you remember, which icon represents which spell. Everything else seems to work fine (not perfectly, but well enough), so it is really shame that the battles don't. Since the battles are such an essential part of Baldur's Gate, unplayable battles make the whole game unplayable. I really hope that the next update fixes this, because Baldur's Gate has all the potential to be an awesome iPad experience.

Kiva etta ryhdytaan tallaisiin vaativiin projekteihin ja tuodaan oikeita peleja iOsille...mutta toteutus kusee viela, ohjaus on paikoitellen luokatonta, taistelut ja taikuus kosketusnaytolla varsin hankalaa ja dialogi valitsee vastaukseksi mita sattuu - roolipelissa aika iso vika kun peli kaskeekin jokaisen questin antajan suksia kuuseen eika hyvaksya. Talla hetkella peli on kiikunkaakun pelikelpoinen, nostalgialaseilla tietty pikkasen isommatkin bugit menee lapi...

There might be some (small) technical issues with the iPad version at the moment - I trust Overhaul is going to work on it until they are gone, though - but that's all beside the point. This is a VIDEO GAME. On the iPad. Not one of the unbelievably crummy $1 garbage apps that the store is overflowing with. A real full-feature video game. And it's a good one too, one of the best RPGs ever made. A frigging actual game. There are like five of those on the entire App Store to choose from. So yeah, 5/5.
