STAY AWAY FROM THE FULL GAME PURCHASE, YOU WILL GET SCAMMED! I’m a big fan of Bastion on console and was looking forward to having it on the go without having to carry a clunky portable console. After downloading the game and tapping on the purchase option the charge was made to my credit card but the game would not let me access the full version. After trying to contact Apple and the developers I went to a couple of forums to see if anyone have had the same issue as me, to my surprise I found out that it’s actually a fairly common glitch. But somehow it gets even worse, with many users claiming that neither Apple and the developers have any solutions to the problem and simply resort to pointing fingers at each other trying to blame the opposite party. What I and other users that had this same problem end up doing is simply asking for a refund because no one seems to want to fix this issue.

The weak Devs should say at the beginning this is a demo, and a bad one at that.

I love this game so much. I played it first years ago when i was in the hospital and my dad said hey play this. Ever since my passion for this game and all the others made by Supergiant have had my heart. The story, the gameplay, and most importantly The Music. By god the music. Darren Korb knows how to make such beautiful music. So thank you Supergiant for making this masterpiece for me to enjoys years after. Even if my heart belongs to Transistor just a bit more.

Frame rate slows to a stuttering crawl when a plethora of enemies are on screen. Additionally, controller support is not fully implemented. Menus should be navigable without touch screen. Also, touchscreen buttons should be eliminated offscreen when controller is in use, which would limit the obscuring clutter onscreen. Poor formatting prevents this from being what would be an otherwise excellent experience.

I haven’t bought a game in years. What a great game. A nod to the classics but truly original.

Paid for this when it was somewhat new and one of the better apps featured…now asking me to pay to “unlock” full game. Do they do this thinking we don’t remember paying? Additionally it runs like trash on the 15 pro max…like very bad, an update is needed Or maybe they just beed more money?

I finished the game. Didn’t play it for a long time. Then i wanted to play again. I needed to pay 5.99 (or was it 4.99)again. Although it saved all my weapons which is dumb because it should save the full game. But its overall fun. I think it SHOULD save the full game if its gonna save my weapons. But like I said its fun.

On my base iPhone 15, I’m getting some serious frame rate issues. I’ve played through this game on other platforms and haven’t had this issue. Disappointed that this great game is borderline unplayable.

I really enjoyed the gameplay without a doubt But it is honestly aggressively overshadowed by the egregiously bad auto save system Just look online for people having save problems and you will know what I mean. It is EXTREMELY easy to lose hours of progress and tons of people have. The real challenge in the game is making sure you don’t lose progress and waste your time due to it not allowing you to save and the ineptitude present in the implementation of the auto save system. I would normally give one star for such a fatal game ruining error, but the gameplay is fun so I’ll give it one extra star, even if the taste is so bad in my mouth I haven’t wanted to open the game again. For the people being charged twice or being resold the game, don’t be afraid to sail the seven seas and play on PC. If a company is going to screw you over screw them back.
