Why can people using the BBC worldwide not watch so many programmes ? Why is it called World Service !?
BBC world service
Although the programming is portrayed from a British perspective, the depth of analysis and information provided is truly excellent. The ability to draw on expertise and provide immediate “breaking news“ gives the listener everything they could want from News programs. The fact that it can be listened to virtually everywhere in the world, gives many an ability to be informed in a manner that local broadcasters cannot or are prevented it from providing. programmes like “from my own correspondent“ are able to introduce to the listener In microscopy, life lived in parts of the world that they would invariably be unfamiliar. All in all, it provides a great public service to the world and a very important ambassadorial role for Britain within it.
