You don’t get to play

The game has a lot of good stuff going for it: Beautiful graphics, good repertoire of songs, great gameplay mechanics, excellent sound design and more. Sadly, the game is absolutely riddled with micro transactions, and the way the game forces you to pay in order to play is like a wet slap to the face. Worst of which is the time gating. You get to play around 5-10 mins at a time, with on avg. 4.5h waiting in between. The game is handing out food stamps with 5 mins of playtime like it’s a limited resource. The price to play without stops is around 5 usd, or 60 nok. That’s the REAL lowest price of just playing the game (the 5-10 songs you’ve got over and over again), WITHOUT getting into the other microtransactions this game filled to the brim with. All of the positives are rendered completely inconsequential because you CAN’T PLAY THE FKING GAME! No self respecting individual would give this greedy highway-robbery of a tiny sliver of a game anything above a 1 star.

I would rate this game a zero, but that’s not possible. So I give it a one. Why? You may ask. I shall answer that question. This game makes me rage so hard that you can’t even compare it with the Fortnite players playing the game like their life depends on it. I have a love hate relationship with this game. Sometimes it’s nice and calming, but then whenever I try the extreme songs it’s like it brings out the demon within my soul.

Beatstar is the best because i love it and its so fun to play and i love the song and how cooler it gets😌

Imperfect synchronization between songs and keys

I absolutely love this game! It’s so much fun🤩 But I would enjoy the game even more if you synced the keys with the song a little bit more, since many of the songs lie a little bit behind in the rhythm. In that way the experience would be better ☺️
