Only giving it one star because zero stars isn’t an option. Doesn’t accept my username half the time. Refuses to stay logged in. Can’t access my Downloaded book unless I’m connected to Wifi. And that’s if it even stays downloaded. The text on the screen frequently appears scrambled. The App is also slower than molasses & crashes quite often too. Complete scam. DO NOT use this useless app. Oh and they don’t provide refunds either.

Maybe the overpriced limited access book you purchased will show up, maybe not. Maybe it will stay downloaded on your device, but who knows if the app will allow you to login to it. If you need a verification code to login, it will be sent to your inbox (maybe), but you’ll have to enter each number individually by toggling between keyboards (no copy paste, no backspace, and it’s a limited 2 minute timer). If you’ve accidentally highlighted a passage, forget erasing the highlighting, it’s there permanently so hopefully you find it aesthetically pleasing. If you need large font, enjoy it while it lasts because you can’t save custom settings, and the settings you input will revert to default every 20 minutes or so. This app is just about the worst interface I’ve had to use as a student. Tell your prof about it and encourage them to divest from predatory publishers who enforce this nonsense.

I’ve used this app for two years now out of necessity and it is a painful experience every time. This app is not “making learning effective”. Trying to study while using this app is ridiculous as books will randomly jump from page to page. They took away the table of contents with links to certain sections of the textbook so I’m forced to scroll through hundreds of pages while the app is glitching now. Other eBook apps put this one to shame. Universities should not use this poorly designed app.

With the technology available today it is upsetting that we are stuck reading textbooks using this cumbersome app.

The crashes too often, not working in MacBook.

I hate this app and I’ve only made it to the login/sign-up page.

I was excited to have a digital copy of my learning modules, mostly for the feature of finding key words and the convenience. The search bar does nothing. I picked some keywords on the page I was on, typed into the search bar and it told me to try another search. But you could type in something simple like the word “and” and it wouldn’t be able to find a page with that word on it. There’s little convenience because you NEED internet to look at your books and good luck trying to download a copy to your device. Not to mention that even with good internet and fast devices the pages load slowly making it hard to scroll and find information that way. Not impressed at all.

This app is potentially dangerous to your phone, iPad and/or personal identity. Many security vulnerabilities exist. Please protect your data and use a better company! Trust all the 1 star reviews and buy a paperback version of you textbook - you will thank me later!

The app is not user friendly. Gaining access is stupidly complicated. The text to speech is the worst it could possibly be. It randomly locks me out of my own account, wasting my study time. Shameful.

I purchased e-books recommended by the University. I was under the impression that I will be able to use the ebooks on my kindle of apple e books. Instead I was forced to use this app, this app is useless and full of bugs. This app should not exist and universities should stop partnering with these people. I would give it below zero if possible. Wasted over 200 dollars on this. Now I am looking to buy used or kindle books again.
