For a long time I was a strong proponent of BITDEFENDER. Sadly, that is no longer the case. I have noted in my reviews of BITDEFENDER MOBILE and the paid Mobile VPN that the VPN is not compatible with Apple Mail. You must turn it off to receive and send email. This review is for BITDEFENDER CENTRAL. Now, BITDEFENDER TOTAL SECURITY and their paid VPN no longer work on my PC after the last Windows update.Their technical support team has acknowledged the problem and that they were aware of the problem before I experienced it. Yet, they cannot fix the problem. In order to return my PC to correct functioning, I had to delete everything related to BITDEFENDER. This even required starting in SAFE MODE to get everything removed. Over the past few months, their US phone support has periodically been rude and unhelpful. Some are professional and helpful; others are not. Therefore, I have totally removed everything Bitdefender from my PC and my mobile devices and canceled all automatic renewals. I must say my PC runs much better and faster with Bitdefender removed. I now have alternate protection. This is sad because I have been a long time advocate of Bitdefender. I can no longer recommend BITDEFENDER products.

For a beginning user, it was really easy to understand, but at some trouble in getting to pay for everything lol, there were lots of free options which help keep my phone safe though
