The Bluesky team is incredible. The way they’ve created a simple system for personalised handles is impressive, and other similar apps should consider adopting it. They continue to deliver new features and improvements without any major disruptions, even as the app’s user base expands.

Once you follow people and post, a much better user experience compared to similar platforms.

I never had twt because of the horror stories I’ve heard;; but Bluesky is a lot of fun. It’s a bit like tumblr! One suggestion, let us save posts & make personal collections for them.

Great community, few features that still need to be added as it’s in beta stage but overall the vibes are good.

After putting in invite code and signing up, just get a black screen. Doesn’t seem to work.

Ok so look be a while to get an invite, I got one eventually. Generally I like Bluesky, has a very similar UI to Twitter in the app and on the Web. Not utilising hashtags is a strange choice. It uses the “my feeds” to generate getting content out there. Although not so great for those with less followers. Hashtags are a great way for others to find your content. Without it it’s almost like talking into a void. Should possibly rethink that one. It will be interesting to see how Bluesky evolves when it goes live.
