Boomerang : Email myself

This app has been my most used app for the past 2 years now. It’s great because it’s minimalistic and simple to use while still being powerful. It allows you to quickly send yourself emails, which can be useful for quickly transferring a text you’ve copied from your phone to your computer, or if you’re like me and use your inbox as your to-do-list, it’s much faster to use this app instead of going in to your email app and sending yourself an email manually. You can also send attachments (such as images) to yourself. A great app that I wholeheartedly recommend, and I hope the developer releases an update with widget support in the future.

I had been searching for a way to easily email myself notes and reminders for years but never found anything until now. Boomerang is the answer I was looking for. Thanks to the creator. Not the creator of the universe, for that is God's doing. ...But thanks to the creator of the app. The glory of capitalism...which too is the creation of God.

Great app

This app is missing a function I assumed it had. Thus, my measly three stars are my own fault. I assumed. I’d like to be able to specify the date and time the email appears in my inbox. That would be a great way to remind myself of a task I need to get done. Instead, it sends an email from me —to me—the moment it’s sent. I’m sure there’s a purpose for that, though I don’t know what it might be. The way I’ve been using it is to “snooze” the email I receive so it pops up as a reminder when I need it to. It would be terrific to circumvent that extra step. Short of my missreading, the app works EXACTLY as described.

Set up 2 different email addresses. Use it every day.

Boomerang is on my phone & iPad. Whenever I think of something I need or something I have to do when I’m not at my desk I simply open Boomerang, send myself an email & the task is remembered & is done. Boomerang is a necessity for me. Try it!!
