Bosch Smart Gardening

I have to remap the lawn twice or three every week to stop the mower trying to manically mow a small section of lawn and then dock for a minute and then repeat. It’s left that section of the lawn near the dock churned up so it gets stuck there. The schedule seems awry (and doesn’t want to change) and the link to my phone doesn’t work frequently. I have had to resort to unplugging the mower unless I’m there to sort out the problems; not the solution I intended! I have sent several requests for help to online support (I have serious difficulty using the phone) but no answer. I bought the mower less than a year ago.

Sadly no Siri support,no google assistant support,app bit to slow. I am happy from the lawnmower. I wish to see more options in the app , would be nice to set area with we don’t want to cut or ad option were is dock to avoid each time to bump it.

This is our 2nd year of using the Bosch Indego 500+. We got a 2nd docking station for the front garden. It is supposed to recognise when it docks on the alternate station and cut within the relevant boundary wire. Instead, it thinks it’s in the back garden and cuts a template of the back garden into our larger front garden. It looks ridiculous and that’s the best outcome. Currently it is taking itself on and off the docking station, travelling a meter and then returning to the dock. No real help online to address this. After two years of faffing about, going outside to find it after it gets stuck or travels outside the boundary wire, it’s not worth the time, money or faff I’ve invested to get this gadget up and running. Get a gardener.

Can’t log in anymore, awful experience. How long is this taking to fix???! Unbelievable. £900 mower and can’t use the app, pathetic.

Since I’ve had my mower the app has been flakey. Now I can’t login at all. Just gets stuck on the login screen. Kind of renders my smart mower not smart at all!!!

Good but can be a bit buggy sometimes and not work properly.

**URGENT** After many years of using this app it’s now impossible to login. All I get is a message “ Indego Connect - cancelled “ please get this fixed. Do something about the single sign on system you use its terrible, the app was so much better before it.

Can’t actually log in any more, rendering most of the functions of the mower literally unusable. Pointless.

I’m not sure what exactly is happening with this app but it will not open. I’ve deleted and reloaded but no difference. Please can someone look into this? It WAS a great tool - but no longer!

The app worked well in 2022 (although didn’t allow you to change lawnmower settings remotely) but updates over the spring have meant a) you keep getting logged out and b) there is an intermittent connection error that regularly stops you from using the mower. The link to ‘contact developer’ takes you to a generic webpage without any contact facility. Update: I now get told the temperature is out of range and the mower refuses to leave its dock, despite it being 15C and dry outside. This has happened a few times this summer.
