Brili Routines – Visual Time‪r

Has such potential, but for the price I have to keep looking for an alternative. $10.49 a month is just simply too much, and the longer timeframes are still too costly. Even if it can do a lot more than just a visual timer, $5-$10.50 a month is out of touch for what a lot of families can realistically afford for electronic supports. I loved the trial period, but sadly I can’t afford to subscribe.

Unfortunately I can no longer promote this App in my public speaking or at my schools, because it is no longer at all accessible to my lower income families. I promoted it widely when families could access at least one free routine, but now one free month just means they know what they cannot afford to have, which is really sad. And the price is extremely steep, given that it’s subscription based. You can outright buy most Apps for less. I am really sad to see such a great App out of reach for so many ADHD families. I am sad they chose to join the greedy corporations who have moved to a subscription approach which was developed to force people to spend more for the same products. For those with the funds, this is certainly an excellent App - most of all the fact that the time allocated to each task automatically adjusts based on the end time, so if your child is slow or starts late they can be moved through the routine at a quicker pace.

I don’t have to micromanage or nag, and my child gets empowered ... to independence, and a sense of control over their own personhood and time. Frustration disappears, and the guilt that goes along with it after sending them out the door or getting them to sleep at night 🥴 💚

I would appreciate it if you updated the app so that once the free trial is done, you can still use the account, and not have to buy Premium. Thanks!

After struggling with my ADHD daughter in the mornings we were recommended this app by How to ADHD. I can not recommend this enough. We have paid for the subscription and find it very worthwhile. Mornings are MUCH less frustrating, and the kids can see that they are working towards free time once things are done. I love that they can rearrange things as they want to do them and it helps keep them in control. We have found the added benefit of adding an after school routine as well. Less nagging to have things done, but also since this is the first year of my kids coming home alone after school, I can watch the app and see what they are up to and make sure things are getting done. Honestly, as someone who has realized I have ADHD as well when I was researching it for my daughter, I have set one up for myself and it has made SUCH a huge difference in my own life. My only complaint is that the app sometimes glitches and gets stuck while completing a task, or doesn’t quite update the time when things go over. I hope you keep developing this and that it is around for our family for a long long time. Thank you!!

Brili has made a huge difference to our mornings! Trying to keep our daughter on task was a daily struggle that would always end with everyone stresses and running late. After using the app for 2 weeks it has made a huge improvement to our mornings! I highly recommend this app.

After yet another frustrating morning of my son and I running late, I searched for tips on my favourite You Tube Channel - How to ADHD. Jessica recommended Brili and I set it up right away. OMG! We have had the best few mornings of my son’s entire school career since setting this up. I also set myself up on it too. Even though it’s geared at kids, I was able to customize it for myself as well. Thank you Brili!! 😊

Si ça n’était pas de la langue (parlée) qui n’avait pas changée subitement pour l’anglais. Tout le reste est en français et l’appli est géniale. Mais la narration en anglais de textes français c’est pas terrible. Dommage car avant, nous étions emballés !

Pas cher et génial! J’ai 3 enfants qui l’utilisent, l’un est autiste! Il fait sa routine automatiquement avec Brili.

I first heard of this app from a great YouTube channel called “How to ADHD” so I thought I’d give it a test run on my 9 yr old (who has ADHD). It has definitely reduced my own personal stress level in the mornings as I’m no longer giving multiple reminders or getting upset. As an added bonus, we now get to school on time. My son loves using Brili every morning before school and he’s actually asked for more routines so I guess that means I’ll be upgrading! 😆 Also, I love the emails I receive from Pierre, offering helpful tips and hints and just making sure that I’m getting the most out of the app. Makes it feel more personal. I have ALOT of apps and not many do that!
