No settings other than the most basic out there, now it wont even scan properly you hit the scan button and the dialogue box fills up to the end of the bar and it just sits there crashed and never ends up scanning. I have to delete the app then reinstall and it works once then fails. Do better Brother
A couple of small tweaks would make this app useful. Don’t get me wrong, I love my very cheap to run mono Brother laserprinter. But this app doesn’t let me do something simple like reduced the image size to 25%. Try again Brother.
Install the main app and the ask me to install iprint&scan which did worth the waste of my time to get it works because the app is useless and doesn’t even recognise its own product model number and asked to enter me to enter manually which end up not working Waste of time Don’t bother to install the app
I have to keep, every few weeks/months, to register my printer. Is there a reason? My phone did not have issues when G3 was obsoleted. PLEASE keep updates so I can work. If anything I need to know, I’d appreciate issues & changes. Cheers.
This printer just goes off line constantly and takes forever going around in circles to get it back on line. No reason it does this at all nothing else drops out so it’s not the wifi, you select find my connected devices and it basically does nothing. You have to delete and reinstall several times before it actually works it drives me crazy when it does work it’s great
I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to have a printer app that I can install and just work almost immediately with my printer, no need for a subscription or me to create an account. It’s a little lacking in printing and scanning options but works perfectly for my use cases. Thank you Brother for making an app that isn’t just another income stream!
Currently using iPhone 15 with latest iOS. Using a brother PJ-862. Connects successfully to Bluetooth, however on the “Add printer” screen takes you to the settings section of the app, leading no-where. Basically getting stuck and unable to print, making this machine an expensive paperweight. Will be returning and recommending no-body else buy anything from brother again. Please fix.
I don’t get an option for double sided printing for my dcp-j925dw. Although I do get the option on my mfc-j6920dw
I set up my printer with my pc a while ago. I thought the app would be the easiest solution to scan to my pc and email. Unfortunately this is not the case. Why is there not option to select a double sided scan? It’s pretty simple surely!
Brother apps and printers have got to be the worst total garbage waste of time so much hassle with this trashy printer then tries to get to buy subscription GTFOH I rather print it out by hand than waste any time or money for any brother garbage products 👎🏻👎🏻
