This printer just goes off line constantly and takes forever going around in circles to get it back on line. No reason it does this at all nothing else drops out so it’s not the wifi, you select find my connected devices and it basically does nothing. You have to delete and reinstall several times before it actually works it drives me crazy when it does work it’s great
I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to have a printer app that I can install and just work almost immediately with my printer, no need for a subscription or me to create an account. It’s a little lacking in printing and scanning options but works perfectly for my use cases. Thank you Brother for making an app that isn’t just another income stream!
Currently using iPhone 15 with latest iOS. Using a brother PJ-862. Connects successfully to Bluetooth, however on the “Add printer” screen takes you to the settings section of the app, leading no-where. Basically getting stuck and unable to print, making this machine an expensive paperweight. Will be returning and recommending no-body else buy anything from brother again. Please fix.
I don’t get an option for double sided printing for my dcp-j925dw. Although I do get the option on my mfc-j6920dw
I set up my printer with my pc a while ago. I thought the app would be the easiest solution to scan to my pc and email. Unfortunately this is not the case. Why is there not option to select a double sided scan? It’s pretty simple surely!
Brother apps and printers have got to be the worst total garbage waste of time so much hassle with this trashy printer then tries to get to buy subscription GTFOH I rather print it out by hand than waste any time or money for any brother garbage products 👎🏻👎🏻

App decides I’m not allowed to choose my paper tray. I often print in to card but the app will miss feed and grab the paper tray. No option to select bypass tray manually. Building iOS print feature is better for most usage.
After last app update, I keep getting the message “ error, can’t communicate with the device, do you want to continue/cancel”. Please fix it.
The only reason to use this app for me was scan to email but now when I select the share. Button there is a dialog that says share as pdf but the email is no longer an option this makes the app useless oh dear brother I won’t be buying any more of your printers with this obvious feature missing and the docs on web for the app make reference to a dialog email as pdf that never appears !#*^! Oh it’s just a massive bug —- to scan to email pdf you select share as jpeg and then a save to email pdf option appears !!!! What more can I say do brother really want to keep their customers ……..??????
