New app update is terrible
App was recently updated. I lost all previous reward points I had. New app functionality is limited. No longer can pay with Apple Pay. I will no longer be ordering from Buona.
Remodeled North Av Store
I have been a loyal Buona customer for many years. I carried out from the North Av store soon after the remodel. I ordered in the store, not the drive up. I have to say that I was surprised that the taste of the beef was not as good as before. I found the juice not as flavorful and a bit watered down tasting. I will try again, maybe it was just a bad night. The wait was a bit long as well, despite what seemed to be an increased number of workers and prep area. I hope things improve, especially the taste. Otherwise the remodel was a bad idea.
Great Food Great Team
What an amazing meal I tried the potato salad for the first time after having a sample that was given to me for free! What kind and thoughtful staff you have at your Glen Ellyn location in Illinois. The dining experience was wonderful and Jose is such a thoghtful and kind young man!
too much work with the app
I’ve already spent the money. On average I spent 220-300 a month but giving my phone number isn’t sufficient so i’ve missed tons of points. i have receipts that are printed so faded that the camera won’t pick up the barcode. Barcodes that are ripped half hazardously by the cashiers so only the top portion of the is visible but not enough of the whole bar code to scan. i hope you all find a better way for loyal customers to capture the savings. The prices are high but it’s great food so i repeatedly come back. However the location I frequent is in a parking lot with no less than 8 other restaurants.

Josh waited on us, and he was very personable and friendly! This is definitely our favorite Bouna location !
