Buxfer: Budget & Money Manager

Buxfer does not sync with bank and when problems are raised with them they say 48 hours response and they ignore and close the request. They'll take your money and ignore you and the issues with the platform - paid an annual fee and strongly regret it. I also have had notifications from my banks of log-ins from India and the US when I'm not using it, which is extremely concerning. So, I just cut my losses after no support and what I consider quite dodgy practice (Waited 3 months and raised probably over 10 tickets without response)— really not worth the risk - find something else.

I was happy to see that the was finally a new version of the mobile app, and it was nothing but a disappointment. Now I cannot even split my transactions, and anytime I’m allocating my expenses into the right category and coming back to the dashboard, it keeps going back to the top of the list, so I have to scroll down after any new allocated expense. It’s a pain in the neck!

I love this programme but the app version keeps crashing after 15min of adding tags to my transactions

The app’s usability need work. Too many paper cut like issues. Eg even when try to add a rule to tag a transaction via the insights tab to past transactions and it does not work! When looking through a large number of transactions the app becomes laggy and does not scroll well. The app has not been updated in years and doesn’t take advantage iOS’s latest features- eg Widget support, dark modes etc just to name a few. The app should complement and in some cases replace the need to use the web interface, but it falls well short of that

I’ve been using Buxfer for over a decade! This is one Cloud based App I can truly say I’m a proud user of 👌 Keep up the good work! And thank you fo valuing our privacy 🙇‍♂️

I thought this app was the perfect solution for all my banking needs however it fails to connect to all of my accounts. I have tried sending emails, I have called the help centre multiple times, I have used the live chat, no answers from any of these so called customer support lines. The fact that you pay a premium to have online support and it doesn’t exist is criminal. The app doesn’t work and you can’t get support. I am canceling my subscription.

In Australia we are paid fortnightly, unfortunately you can’t choose that option in reminders and budgets- that’s a pity cause it makes the app difficult to use, so I wanted to CANCEL there is no option to do so in the app. I have emailed the company- please reply

Please turn off nags in paid accounts!!!

Can’t cancel been trying for years, charges keep coming through. I doubt doubt there’s a way. But it’s always been fraudulent.

This app is great when it works has really helped me but have had two issues now and the help desk doesn't respond at all! Half my budgeted items have disappeared from the forecast which makes the whole thing useless. Such a shame they create something so great and then don't back it up with any support to even respond to a message!
