So I understand apps want to charge for everything but honestly it’s not worth $15 a month, I could understand $20 for the year but anything above that for an app that doesn’t really do much other than give you the run/walk is nuts. I went to Nike Run Club they have a c25k program for free 🤷🏽♀️
$15 a month? crazy. and for the people that PAID for this app years ago and no longer have use for it unless they pay monthly it's just outrageous to me. i used to use this app religiously and was excited to get back into running and seen the subscription and how i no longer have access to an app that I PAID for!! so i will be taking my 5k training elsewhere with a new app :)
I like this app because the run is broken up by walks. It is perfect for someone that wants to become a runner or start running again after a lull.
The time it took me to run my first 5K. This app helped me train to get there. Next up is a 10K!
I recently purchased a new Apple Watch and started to get back on my 5k training. The C25K app on my Apple Watch worked great and tracked all my training. However, one day I decided to run with the app on my phone, and now the C25K watch app stopped working and needed to sync with my phone.
There is a seven day trial and then you have to pay $15 per month. This used to be free!
Very happy and thankful for this app, this regimented, slow but steady progression to the full 5k!! Being overweight was keeping me from running for too long, and once I lost enough to feel my knees and joints could take it without injury I was ready to start running again. But how to begin? I needed to get back my confidence and build up stamina and endurance slowly to prevent injury and c25k was just what I needed!! Also, I tried the free trial first but quickly upgraded to the monthly fee. For me, it’s worth the small cost when I consider the gains in health, strength, stamina, and confidence, following this regimented but gradual progress toward the goal! Thank you—I highly recommend this plan and app!!
Im loving it so far, about to start week 5. The only thing I could think of that would make this a 5 star app is distance tracking (maybe its part of a paid version idk) but I see the path I jogged, but it doesnt give me any stats on pace or distance.
This app is easy to use and helps you stay motivated and accomplish your goals. Recommend it for any fitness level.
