Easy and effective
The app is easy to use; the running of course is gross, but this app does take the intimidation of starting away. JUST START! The running gets less gross quite quickly so power through the first few runs and you’re golden.

Buried the lead on this one, got to Week 2 just to learn that after investing 4 workouts & all that goal tracking/ record keeping you hit a steep pay wall. Read the description of the ‘Pro’ features in the bio… lots of extras including access to pro features on all 11 of their other apps I have no interest in & custom dj sets I would not use & calorie counting I’m not at all interested in. What is not listed is that you don’t just need to pay to access ‘the full program’ you have to ‘Go Pro’ to access any features whatsoever past week 2 - Day 1… even just the basic program. With 7 day free trial activated on day 1 of week 2 you could complete the first two weeks but blocked after that. The way it is sneaky makes me absolutely lose trust in the company & the fact that there aren’t at least tier options for a ‘basic’ package at a more reasonable price is completely shooting your self in the foot.
You changed it to a subscription service? Lame.
This app was awesome. But now they charge to access the program beyond the first two weeks. Really really really disappointing.
I purchased the lifetime pro version of this app and now they have removed it from the App Store and replaced it with a paid subscription? I understand the business model of a paid subscription but if you were previously selling a lifetime pro version it is wrong to remove that from the App Store. Plus
I used this app a couple years ago and it was great. It was free with upgrade options. I got up to week 3. Went to restart it this year and get 4 workouts and then need to pay to upgrade to pro. I’ll be looking for a different app to use.
This was a great app to get me back into running. The 3 runs a week, with little to no focus on speed, was exactly what I needed. I looked forward to my runs each week! I graduated without realizing I was even done - did the last run and when I did my selfie it said I had completed the program. So I’ve now moved on to C210k to keep running and improve my time and distance. Highly recommended!
I’ve never run before, but the apps been great to ease me into it. Runs are challenging for me, but not to a point where I want to give up. Just when it’s becoming easier, the level progresses which is great. I’m halfway through and feeling so much healthier and fitter.
This app used to be free and featured ads I assume to pay the devs. As of recently the app is a monthly subscription to utilize which is incredibly disappointing - I used to recommend this app to EVERYONE as an accessible tool but I’ll be looking elsewhere now.
Used to be my go to running app, now they are trying to charge an obscene amount for a glorified timer. Not impressed.
