Amazing community for artists and anyone who is so much as interested in art. Ai is useful and can be used as a great tool but not to steal other people’s works!

The app is great for communicating with other artists and I’ve even started seeing some photographers join! I think it’s one of the most successful artist social media I’ve seen in a while, and the team seems to be updating and fixing stuff quite often

It’s against Ai art which means it shows a lot of artists and there work but if you’re using it on tablet it doesn’t go full screen

I will tell you why I gave this app 2 stars. The app itself is great and well done for that, but the way people treat others there is too much! There need to be guidelines and there need to be ways to make people understand that there is a way you treat others! There is no way I will get insulted because of my opinions, and there is no way I will get second thoughts on why I have the app because people there don’t know how to respect others! There must be a way to make people follow guidelines and make them listen to it, even if it means suspension or even banning from the app. People are really mean and you can’t even report the comments that’s absurd! People post political stuff there where it’s a place to post art! I didn’t came there to watch political views I came to watch art! And if you can’t control what people post then just close the app you are no better than Instagram at this point

Thankful for the development team’s hard work and the commitment to artists, just wish it had a iPad-friendly version as the works would look amazing on the new OLED iPads and iPad Pros!

Feel so much more comfortable uploading art on here than instagram but would LOVE it if there is a “not interested in this” or “hide this” or “don’t recommend this” button for posts that randomly show up on my timeline instead of forcing me to go onto some poor random artist’s profile and mute them :(

It’s so far and so good the I actually join in and it’s almost like a half Twitter and Instagram together. It’s seems great 😊 except the log out app part need to be fixed ? But everything is good.

So far as an artist I’ve enjoyed this platform, the only critiques i have i know are likely to be fixed soon anyways. Im excited to see where this goes!

At a time when generative AI content is drowning out human creators on every platform, is nice to have an platform dedicated to human artists. In its present state, genAI images would not exist if not trained on the theft of intellectual property from human artists and photographers. Cara does not allow artificial imagery on its platform and provides tools to help human artists protect their work. Amazing! While the site has had some growing pains due to the mass influx of artists, it’s being very actively developed and updated. Many of us are tired of platforms that manipulate algorithms and train generative AI on our work without consent. Cara has been a breath of fresh air for the art community and it will only continue to improve. I’m happy to have found a home here.

The app is somewhat unintuitive, but that shouldn’t stop people from using it. I think it’s a great place to find inspiration & connect with other artists.
