Most basic functions are not available (eg clearing or sorting) or unreliable (eg opening door). How is it possible to have such distinction is basic modern day apps?

I want to make a essay how bad this app is: so my and my sister was going up stairs and we had to try Carson for more than 4 hours , 2:45- 6:23 and we had to just wait , running in the park soaked because it was raining and had nothing to eat because this app didn’t let me in

I’ve been using the APP for several months, it’s not nearly as good as its predecessor. Live Cam lagging ruins the experience and constant vid feed buffering significantly compromises the security aspect of its core functions. The reason I gave 3 stars (one star previously) is to encourage the tech team to provide a low resolution viewing option in Live View.

I’ve had nothing but issues with the Carson app. The virtual key feature, which is supposed to grant access to my apartment, never works as intended. I constantly have to uninstall and reinstall the app, log out and back in, and reset Bluetooth just to gain access to my own home. It’s a maddening process that leaves me standing outside my door for several minutes every time. In my old building, we used Latch, which had an automatic Bluetooth feature—no extra steps, no frustration. I’d walk up to the door, and it would unlock seamlessly. Carson, on the other hand, is the opposite of seamless. It’s clunky, unreliable, and downright horrendous. I can’t recommend this app to anyone who values ease of access to their home. The developers need to make major improvements. Until then, this app is more of a headache than a convenience.

The idea of a building where you don’t even have a physical key is already a bad idea, in my opinion. SO much can go wrong, and with Carson, so much absolutely does go wrong. I was asked to download this app to get into a client’s home to care for their pet, and it took me over half an hour just to unlock the door because it kept having errors. I will NEVER live in a digital building. Some things are better left WITHOUT digital technology being involved. Having the key to your own home is one of them.

Horrible app experience, keeps logging me out even after minutes of using, doesn’t save password so I have to enter password every single time or login with my gmail account which takes longer. Also, very glitchy, had to stay outside my door for 10 minutes multiple times because it disables my apartment door! Horrible experience! I wish this association stops using this app or Carson gets their S together

Unfortunately I have to use this garbage app to enter my apartment, it will not stay log in, as soon as phone screen goes off it logs out and it doesn’t recognize my door, it says not available so I have to wait hours before my roommate comes home and let me in, in my own apartment.

Won’t send reset link to my phone and always have problems with this app poor developers that don’t understand integration and unit testing for production apps I wish them the best of luck and hope whoever funds this project understands they’re over paying for horrible developers

This app all of a sudden doesn’t recognize my email or phone number, there is ZERO customer service. I deleted the all and restarted my phone…nothing! This is horrible as there are animals inside the apartment to feed and no way to even open the door remotely. ZERO STARS

App crashes, takes eons to load, horrible UI and the list goes on. The least you can do is create better widgets to unlock specific doors. Or, just support Shortcuts! If you are a building manager, stay away! We, residents, are currently petitioning to change this app in our community.
