CHANI: Your Astrology Guide

I love starting my week off with Chani and the teams app. I’m addicted to my weekly report, every Monday morning I look forward to listening to mine on my commute. I subscribe so I get two versions and my friend and I chat about them often on serendipitous occasions! Every report gives me something to chew on while I commute and reminds me there is more to life, more to myself and even more within my community. I’m on year two of subscribing and I probably should be saving my money but I can’t imagine not having my Chani app, it is worth every penny! The meditations the journal prompts, I add important dates and motivational tidbits to my planner it’s just so fun and often mind bending in the best of ways. I just love the thoughtfulness of the app and the content, sending kisses, hugs and gratefulness your way, Chani and team ya’ll are the best!!!

I’ve been using the CHANI app as a premium subscriber since it first launched and have turned on many other subscribers by word of mouth. I’ve always thought CHANI was great at breaking down astrology in a way that’s very fun, relatable, easy to understand, and in a way that gives astrology a lot of credence. But, more and more recently she’s been infusing her political beliefs into the readings, which are making the app less enjoyable to listen to and to be honest? A little offensive. CHANI has been so spot on with her readings that as we made our way toward and through the elections I found myself wondering if she’d either have to admit her political beliefs may be flawed or her astrology. To my surprise, she just admitted the latter. It’s a shame because now I find myself questioning whether the readings are accurate or if she’s blinded by her own bias. Not to mention (for someone who you can literally hear working so hard to be politically correct and sensitive) the more blatant she is with her opinions, the more she singles out half her audience - which feels rather un-inclusive. I think she appeals to a very woke audience, which ironically, is starting to put me to sleep (and that’s without the help of her recently launched “sleep stories.”) While the app was fun and useful for a few years, it feels like it’s time to move on to an astrologer who can stick to the astrology - that’s what we’re here for, after all.

This app is such an essential resource for me. I’ve been a subscriber for three years now, and at this point I’m not sure how I existed without it. Bar none, this is the best astrology resource available and I recommend to everyone. If astrology never resonated with you, try this app. It’s the only resource that’s ever explained my chart in a way I could make sense of, and I love it so much.

Go elsewhere for astrology. This platform has shifted to polemics on American government

I’ve been using the CHANI App since 2023, and it has been a guiding light in my astrology journey. It’s profoundly influenced my approach to life, encouraging me to delve deeper into astrology and find clarity in uncertain times. As a queer woman in the USA, I share the concerns and fears of the current political climate. However, I’ve noticed the dramatic shift in the app’s tone recently. I’ve been holding out in the hopes that the relentless political agenda and absence of restraint in every single reading would calm down a bit. We are all fully aware we’re living in unprecedented times and are being bombarded daily with political discourse by the News, family members, MSM & social platforms. While I understand the importance of acknowledging the broader societal context, the weekly readings and forecasts now feel overwhelmingly focused on political discourse and borderline fear mongering. This shift has entirely diminished the app’s ability to provide the reprieve and optimism people seek from astrology. For example, I was excited about the 2025 forecast but found it impossible to engage with because of the heavy and frankly relentless emphasis on politics. The 2025 forecast starts with a beautiful grounding meditation but then shifts into 25 minutes of aggressive political agenda. The astrological insights were entirely overshadowed, leaving me overwhelmed with anxiety. So much so, I was unable to get through the reading and checked out at the 27 minute mark. I used to love this app and what it stood for, but I just can’t anymore. And I feel unable to recommend it to anyone without a caveat re: the rampant political agenda.

At this point whether or not I believe in the astrology is irrelevant — though it can be so eerily accurate that I am convinced Chani is channeling something from on high. But these days, I listen and read for the poignant and soulful reflection more than anything else. In every reading, meditation, transit, and journal entry, Chani is asking you to look inward to your quality of life, your politics, your spirit. This is more than astrology, it’s the work of becoming a conscious and evolving being on this fragile and awesome planet that’s dancing in time with all the other fragile and awesome planets.

I have been so blessed by Chani and her team through this app. It is the thing I look forward to every week. I have found courage and solace in the astrology every time. I have learned so much and found my voice as an advocate with the help of Chani and friends. Thank you and keep doing this amazing work in the world.

First I want to say that the content is geared towards the younger generations and the LGBTQ community, of which I am neither. Chani as an astrologer is amazing and very insightful. However, I come here for astrology and with it I get her unsolicited political opinions which are extreme and far from the “loving” persona that she wants to portray. She’s filled with hate and it’s sad. Her opinions are tone deaf and not representative of the larger population. But it’s her app and she can absolutely create content as she sees fit. I have been a paying subscriber for years, but just canceled. The year ahead quarterly audio reading was absolutely awful. Hate filled and 90 minutes of my life I’ll never get back. I do think the app needs to be re-marketed so she can draw the right listeners. I find The Pattern astrology app to be more personal growth oriented and that’s what I’m looking for at this moment in time.

Have had this app since it began. The forecasts have become less focused on astrology and are littered with political opinions and tired emotional complaints.
