Chilling: Horror Movies & More

I wanted to rate this 5 stars before but the newest update changed that. If you’re like me, you got this app because you love the stories told on the BeingScared youtube channel, and I loved this app for a long time. But this newest update makes it frankly hard to use, it’s kind of confusing and unpolished, sometimes the controls are delayed, and a lot of audio stories are locked behind paywalls. It feels like it lost its original purpose and what made it great. I loved this app, but I’m finding myself using it less and less since they are adding less and less stories, along with changing the ui to be clunkier and delayed. It can be hard to navigate the menus and find what I want to listen to. I’ll most likely be cancelling my subscription soon, possibly deleting it, because it doesn’t give me what I need anymore, along with raising the price, which makes me very sad considering how much I loved it before.

I’m so upset with this new update! The whole interface is completely changed, it costs more, and it won’t even play my stories. I’m legit upset about this. I literally listen every night to help me sleep. I don’t know what I’ll do now… but I will be unsubscribing and uninstalling. Truly the end of an era 😔

Well the app service was great then when they did their update it wouldn’t login my account then it did but now it’s saying I don’t have a subscription with them & to choose so i cancelled it. Had potential tried contacting support but kept saying errors

I used to use this app everyday while working to get me through the day. I’ve listened and gotten invested into mostly every story on this app. However, for the past two weeks or so when I try to access any content on the app nothing comes up, it’s like everything has been deleted. I have the option to choose a story, theme, etc. but when I click on a story I want to listen to it’s brings up nothing. It’s like this for every story too, what is going on with this app??

Only goes to a blank page when I try to go to a narrator's page and will not open up the entire narrator list. When I try to get support, I'm taken to a 504 error. Horrible app. Wish I could have my money back.

No new stories have been added in months, also no movies are available.

Says I can use it for free with ads but everything is locked couldn’t find one thing that I could listen to. No filter to turn off locked items so I was drowned in unplayable audios

I really do enjoy having this app with the different stories and I like having to try to update stories but the only thing I have an issue with is auto play does not work for some reason it only works when I have gone to my downloads but when I’m trying to play all of one authors or narrator’s stories it never moves on to the next story when I’m done with the first it always stop right after

I keep getting a message, not available in your area for movies. Is the app down?

I literally downloaded the app and hit the continue with ads button. Not a single story I found was free, every one I selected to play the app kept telling I have to subscribe to listen. 10/10 would NOT recommend.
