Chineasy is a wonderful app for beginers with Mandarin (like me). I started three days ago, I’m enjoying the method a lot and have a feeling that I’m progressing fast. Great work 🙏🏼
My gf is Chinese and she’s learning Portuguese on Duolingo while I learn Mandarin both on Mondly and Chineasy. Chineasy easy stands out compared to Duolingo and Mondly. It provides a different learning experience which focuses more on the writing and provides more context on language and culture. Chineasy made learning the characters much easier, which ends up helping a lot with learning the language itself because how characters are intertwined is spoken word. When in doubt about the sound meaning in a context you can always air write the character And when you see a character you don’t know you sometimes can understand its general meaning by looking at how it’s constructed, radicals, etc. I also appreciate the flash card feature, which is very useful. Finally the beautiful and whimsical illustrations and animations make it more engaging.
Instalei hoje e adoro! Queria comprar também o livro, para usar juntamente com a App! Recomendo vivamente a todos que queiram aprender Mandarim, de uma forma fácil e divertida.
It’s fun. Fantastic app. Easy. And I feel very excited by learning this way. It’s a must! Congratulations. And I look into a menu in Chinese for the first time smiling. Thanks
I connected my Apple ID and I’m met with a loading screen that never completes. Just a spinning cursor.
You made a great job and it’s free I am really grateful and impressed by your work bravo
It’s a pretty good app for very beginner and fun! I wish there was a way to add the word of the day to the words I’ve learned/review words, or add words I’ve learned outside the app or in the explore part of the app to review.
For daily usage, gamification, and bite sized context this is by far the best app out there. I haven’t gotten to later levels so I’m unsure how the learning scales but I love it. The little history and visual depiction for each word/phrase helps so much for remembering. I think there’s a good mix of English, pinyin, and characters too; which provides a little support while not fully relying on pinyin - which often detriments learning. My only ask would be ability to turn off pinyin. Also curious if hsk3/4 will be added at some point as well.
I recently discovered Chineasy after I was scrolling on TT and someone had recommended the app. I had been on Duolingo for about two years but felt any Mandarin learning had become stunted and sincerely boring. This was a great way to come back to mandarin where writing is easier as a visual learner.
