Characters fall from the top of the screen - you have to tap them and draw them correctly to score points. Just don't let them reach the bottom, or - kaboom! Let five of them drop and the game is finished! But the learning continues; you can review everything that you saw, complete with stroke order diagrams and testing at your own pace. Characters you made the most mistakes on are highlighted at the top of the list.

• trainchinese Chinese Writer can test you on 5,600 Simplified and Traditional Chinese characters, and features stroke-order diagrams, English explanations and high quality audio recordings for every possible pronunciation of each one.
• The app remembers which characters you've had trouble writing and prioritises them in future games, as well as highlighting them in the character pack browsing screen.
• Includes an animated introduction to the basic rules for writing Chinese characters.

(VERY URGENT)Search button and cancel too small and not working well

Hi Dear Chinese Writer App developer. Thanks for the great and very useful App but the SEARCH BUTTON AND CANCEL BUTTON ARE TOO SMALL AND OFTEN NOT WORKING VERY WELL, I use also trainchinese which the search bottom made it very right size to be able use easily. Thanks David J.I

Should add save own list

It’s a nice app but unfortunately you cannot save your own list of characters

Transforms stress into fun...

Well, almost... OK, still a very challenging language, and it'll be a while before I get anywhere with it, but if this had come out when Tetris did, I'd be fluent by now! And I wouldn't have wasted days of my youth playing Tetris instead of learning a language... Excellent for ultra-beginners like myself. Now let's see how long before I get past the first packs of characters... Definitely well thought out and set up for quick and easy access, easy to pause, easy to restart, just a really really difficult language... at least it is fun now!
