CHMate: EPUB & CHM Reader

CHMate got better when it integrated EPUB reading capability. Thank you. I'm still hoping that it will be able to read PDFs someday.

I have tried several chm readers. CHMate has been the best ever came across. Please allow me to share a couple of points: ================= Performance ================= 1. When highlighting a list of items <ul>, CHMate takes too long, although the list has only a few items. 2. When the HTML page is too long with a lot of highlights, CHMate takes minutes to display the page, dims out (disables) all navigation buttons, so one can not even navigate away from such a page. ================= Annotations Sharing ================= 3. CHMate allows sending highlighted text via Email. However, it drops viable information, that is the section number where each highlighted text is. CHMate presents the sections, when viewing Notes from Navigation. Thank you for making CHMate the ultimate chm reader.

I'm very happy with this app so far. It is at least as comfortable as reading CHMs on the original desktop application, since it's fast and has all the important features: hierarchical table of contents, full-text search, etc. Additionally, it is very easy on the eyes. It has beautiful typography, and you can customise everything from fonts to line height to inverted colour mode. Uploading files wirelessly works fine as well. No complaints about this app yet.

Perhaps I’ll get the paid version at some point, but the UI and the layout of the books that I am reading right now are perfect

After posting a problem I was having, the Developer quickly responded. The problem was solved and now I’m happily loving this app again.

iOS 14.5 update is blocking custom fonts in CH Mate app. How we can fix this problem. Please update the app. Thanks

It’s a great app, especially when dealing with .chm files. Runs very smoothly on both iPhone and iPad. Some improvements could be done: especially more colour themes such as Sepia (cool for the eyes) and collection views of books (cover page display instead of title of the book and author’s name).

I read large chm manuals and it displays them well. Plus it is free. Thanks for making it.

Cannot search any CHM filed without the app crashing.
