Chordbot lets you create and play chord progressions in different styles easily. Just add chords, select instrument tracks and hit play.
Experiment with complex chord progressions without having to master an instrument or music theory first. Great for songwriting experiments or to create your own backing tracks for instrument practice. Easily create arrangements and mixes by selecting from hundreds of piano, guitar, synth, bass and drum tracks.
This is the full version of Chordbot with all features enabled. There is also a free evaluation version (Chordbot Lite) with disabled save/export features that you could/should try before buying the paid version.

Including classics like AugAdd2 and Min7(#11), in all inversions.
* 70+ comping style presets
Simple but usable arrangements that won't get in your way.
* 400+ instrument tracks
Individually mixable dynamic instrument tracks that can be combined to form unique comping styles.

Manually select chord inversions, or let Chordbot select the smoothest inversion automatically.
* Song sections
Songs can be structured into repeatable sections (verse, chorus, etc). Each section can have its own comping style/arrangement.

Best tool out there for musicians!

This well crafted app is simply a must-have if you encounter writers block or just want to get fresh ideas for any style of music. Impressive!

Bugs

Good intentions by the builder of the app, but I directly encountered a bug where the app doubled some chords during playback. Had to do it all again. And it bugged again. Please fix, this app would be super without bugs.

Best creative software on any platform is an app!

I cant wait for the next version. Happily pay 10 times current price for an expansion. Highly recommended!

Jag gillar det här lilla programmet. Fungerar och låter riktigt bra. Väldigt roligt sätt att testa ackordföljder på och hitta nya favoritackord. Och enkelt att exportera som MIDI-fil och jobba vidare på. Några saker jag saknar är framförallt audio copy/paste men hoppas det är på väg. Vore roligt om den kunde sända MIDI via WiFi också, så att man kan testa live med sina favortinstrument. Och lite mer styles, och kanske ett intelligent sätt att lägga in lite variation i dem. Klart bästa av de liknande apparna jag prövat iallafall. Klart rekommenderad,

I’ve been using Chordbot daily for ten years. Easy to build very listenable tracks to practice with. Loop sections. Save songs. Lots of instruments and loops. So very helpful. Thanks!

Love this app, use it all the time.

This app is a great little composers tool. It’s a great way to experiment with chords and harmony while also using the different comping styles to try out different feels. Then export MIDI, load into a DAW, and off you with a great foundation for a new track.
