Christianbook Reader

Seems like the app being bad has been going on for years and they haven’t made an effort to fix it. One reviewer said they spent over 300 on a commentary book and can’t read it because the app sucks and there are no refunds. That should be illegal. I only grabbed a sample of the ebook I was interested in and the app constantly crashes. Came to read the reviews and lo and behold; the app is no good. Glad I didn’t waste my money. Sad to see a Christian company continue to rip off their customers.

Take care of this please.

Can’t even copy and paste

I wish I had read the reviews before making my purchases. I am just a couple pages in the first book and the App went blank. I hope I will be able to get a refund from Christianbook .

*Warning* Do not buy ebooks from Christianbook.com. The CBD READER is not user friendly in any way. Honestly, it’s brutal!!! Unfortunately, I splurged and bought the John MacArthur NT 33 ebook commentary as my first purchase as an after Christmas sale (still very expensive at >300$ USD). Unfortunately, I love the content of the commentaries but absolutely hate this app. I wish I spent more $$ to get the commentaries on a different App. According to the FAQs on Christianbook.com, you are not able to return ebooks and you will not be able to transfer them to your preferred e-reader! *BE WARNED*

Half way through reading one of two purchased eBooks. This morning the app is empty/blank. Also, highlighting is very frustrating as the highlighted areas are very difficult to control. This app is not acceptable and I will be expecting a refund on my purchases .

This app worked well for a while but today when I went to open it to continue reading one of my books, a message popped up saying I had no books. This app needs help. All the books I purchased from CBD cannot be read in any other app!

There are only 3 books on there I don’t understand

Only a blue screen comes up, you can’t read the book. CBD needs to work on this.
