This was not tested on an apple device for functionality. I cannot jump to a page, menu disappears and cannot come back up without exiting and reloading. Left side menu only shows books. I want to jump to page based on book , chapter , and verse. If you cannot provide a useful app, consider allowing a pdf or ebook download to use our own reader.
Not happy
I will not be using this ereader any more. Too many issues. Couldn’t finish my book.
Why do I even need it?
I am not only disappointed in the function of this app but in the fact that I HAVE to download it. CBD should allow us the download the book in ePub or PDF format like Crossway does. I will not be purchasing anymore ebooks from them unless they change that policy because I loathe using this app.
Non functional
Almost every time I go to use this app, I have to delete it and load it again. This app is so annoying and difficult. It needs a lot of improvements.
Unusable
Tried this a few years ago and assumed it was better. So sorry to have wasted my money. Totally unusable in my iPad.
Disappointing 🥺😢
I was excited to be able to download their ebooks and have a centralized place to access them, except for I’ve never been able to log in. It just keeps telling me there is an error and to try again, but to do that I have to relaunch the app because it gets stuck on what I can only describe as the blue screen of death. I’d love to be able to access my ebooks, I just don’t know how to get it to work. Such a bummer. At this point, I’d be happy to pet the difference to get the physical copies. To end on a positive note, I think Christianbook is a wonderful site and I will continue to enjoy shopping there for as long as they’re around.
Can’t get it to function at all.
Reading my first ebook - can’t even find out if what i downloaded was a sample or whole book— just blank screen.
Crashes constantly
I downloaded two samples to try this out. I have had it for about 5 minutes and it has crashed four times. It looks like it might be great, if it worked. But each time it crashes, I have to start at the beginning. Might try from my phone (I am on ipad now). But I am glad I didn’t purchase a book yet. If it can’t handle samples, then there is no reason to buy the books
It STAYS what it is…..
YEARS of consistent crashing, losing bookmark place- back to the cover and then won’t go to book/page- leaving me rapidly swiping- trying to catch up. I have actually cried a few tears of frustration over this app, but it is my only online availability to the set of books I need. Have mercy-
Functionality non-existent
I agree with other unsatisfied user. The app is not easy to use. Can’t go back to where you left off in some cases. Turning pages works sometimes, maybe. Just isn’t up to today’s standards. Very frustrating.
