Circle Parental Controls App

This app filters a bunch of random sites like for example sony.com and antifa.se yet leaves sites like nordfront.se (a neo-nazi news forum) open. If you are a parent then please don’t use this to try and take control of your kids. And btw it doesn’t even work properly. Any good vpn will easily bypass the anti vpn system and then be able to roam through whatever dodgy porn sites the user wants. If you want your child to like you past the age of 12 then i suggest not creating an Orwellian bubble around. That bubble is going to burst and the more you try to stop it the more explosive it becomes. Looking through your childs search history past the age of 8 is like installing a one way mirror in his/her room and then recording and rewatching the entire thing. Give your children the privacy they need. Don’t treat them like you’re a cult leader. This only leads to them cutting off contact with you as soon as they can. Hope you don’t turn your own home into a big brother dystopia

there is no way (no X or button) to avoid the subscription plan. u have to accept the subscription plan before you can even get to the app. this is no way to do business people

I’m a child who has had circle for 3 almost 4 years now and this app is great some of the times if you want your children to not be on there devices past a certain time but beside that this app is a scam whole wast of money! It makes your device very slow and if you have a limit on a app for like an hour it will mess that up and only be 20 minutes so I deleted this app today because it’s trash parents don’t wast your money on this!!

i'm 14, so this is clearly going to be biased, but i've always had issues with my dad and it's all gotten even worse since this was installed. it slows down the wifi even when the wifi's not blocked, takes forever to actually turn on the wifi when bedtime limits are finished, and just screws up the whole device and doesn't give children the experience to learn how to manage their online time themselves. kids should be able to have more control over their OWN PERSONAL devices, not their parents. this takes away the ability for them to actually learn how to use the internet and their screen time and instead forces schedules onto them and blocks half of the sites on the internet. makes kids feel weird and like outcasts compared to their friends, and does anything but make them happier and healthier. inefficient and ineffective, do not get. stick to being a normal parent for your kids, please and thanks.

This DOES NOT filter the way it’s advertised. My kid was able to easily go around the “filters” to find audio P0rn on Spotify. This app will not protect your kids from predatory action in messages since it’s doesn’t filter conversations at all. Waste of money. We spent months thinking this was helping… only to find out it was basically pointless.

No customer service at all.

This is hereby the WORST app ever to exist, I am a child and my opinion may not matter to you but I don’t care. Here are MY reasons. 1: My parents wanted to put it on because I was “Obsessed ” with MY FIRST IPHONE I GOT. MY WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE I HAVE BEEN CONTROLLED, So I hardly trust my parents anymore. 2: I CAN’T SEARCH ANYTHING! Kid appropriate websites! Like, 💀 ARE YOU SERIOUS!?! NOW I CAN’T DO MY DUOLINGO LESSONS! 3: since my parents are going to be putting this on for the rest of my life, it’s going to make me grow apart and grow without them. Delete this app from every kid’s device, want them to become a psychopath? Want them to be a dummy? Grow without guidance? AMERICA will face this challenge in the future so for the best of these kids, D E L E T E T H E A P P. (AND DON’T GIVE ME THE BOT RESPONSE💀)
