Citi Bike Miami

Do not buy the CityBike subscription! There are no electric bikes, and you can't even check bike availability. For foreigners, signing up is a real nightmare, extremely complicated. I understand why no one uses this service: I haven't seen anyone with a CityBike. Plus, it's ridiculously expensive for such a terrible service. Avoid it at all costs, it's a complete rip-off!

I can not sign up with French number

I can t sign up with my French number because when I put my French number to have a number for verification it’s not working …

Not only the service is horribly expensive (USD 24 for a 24 hours subscription) but the app is very poorly designed. It does not work offline. Any connection requires a full download of the stations. Sometimes it simply does not work (no station appears on the app). And contrary to NYC, there is unfortunately no more friendly alternative.

You are stuck in a loop and can never even rent a bike

Gave 2 stars cause it’s an easy way to get around and decently priced. Lost 3 stars cause the UX and ui are terrible. Poorly thought out experience. Also sometimes tells me I didn’t check my bike back in even when I did. There’s so many small tweaks that could be done that would greatly improve the user experience

Impossible to start a membership at the moment. I just get looped back to download the app, then there’s nowhere to start the membership…

We took out 5 bikes and returned them all to the same location they tried to say we never returned the bikes and charged a $70 late fee. Made me file a police report and still tried to charge me $600 for never returning the bike even though we DID return and it said SUCCESSFULLY RETURNED. Good thing I cancelled my card so they couldn’t charge the $600. This is a scam company do not rent their bikes.
