Why is it that the app doesn’t have as many features as the web app and why is it that you can’t access the web app on iPhone iPad or tablet this is crazy

Default options are very poor and seem very niche compared to average user needs.

I’m a clickUp power user and I’ve used clickUp extensively. It has incredible capabilities and is much more customisable than other task management softwares such as Monday and Asana, however it is absolutely rife with bugs that interrupt your workflow and require constant attention. Do better ClickUp

Biggest issue with using this app on a phone is that locking/unlocking the phone while editing the description of a task will break it. This is not an unusual use case. I’m often in a server room checking things and I’ll use this app to take notes. Every time I go to unlock the phone to continue editing the description section it works inconsistently. Sometimes it’ll let you continue writing in that section, other times it just won’t let you unless you press the pencil icon, then there are times where even pressing that icon won’t let you edit it unless you close and reopen the app. It’s just unresponsive. Other note taking apps like Notion and Evernote are capable of handling something as simple as this and yet this bloated and unintuitive app isn’t. Not surprising.

I would never join clickup again to a paid account. They have a very unfair pricing model, make sure you like up reviews before signing up.

Hey there I have used the web version and find the functionality and navigation is intuitive and quite suitable for the level of project management I am doing at the moment. I would dearly like the Gantt view to be added to the ipad version, as I do most of my work on the ipad. Many thanks for a lovely piece of software (other than this issue). Would like to hear your timeline with this feature.

This update made the app terrible. It's not possible to copy the order title, I couldn't copy the text correctly, translation is not available when selecting the text, and it's not possible to drag to go to the next attachment. It was better before; I hope they fix it.

I love ClickUp because it’s easy to use. I can use it across all my devices: Windows laptop, Samsung phone, and Apple iPad, which means I can access everything wherever I am - at home or on the go. It has everything I need in terms of planning and project management. The reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 is it lacks one very important feature. Reminders are sent via email. This is pretty useless to me, partly because I don’t check my email everyday. But more importantly, I am the type of person who gets distracted easily. This means that no matter how much planning and organising I do, if I don’t have a mechanism - such as an audible alarm - I can easily and totally forget to do what I had planned. It is for this reason alone that I am currently searching for a similar app that has an audible alarm system to jolt me out of whatever alternate path I may have wandered down and get me back on track.

ClickUp as a service is pretty excellent, but this app has trouble loading the Docs section. When I navigate to a page, it essentially freezes with a loading icon. Being unable to scroll through my docs after waiting for 2 minutes is not fun.

When I found Clickup, after first few clicks and tries, I know this is the one I want. I shifted from Trello after using it for over 10 years to Clickup without thinking. I thought I would pay for using the features I need, it turned out to be free! Kanban, List, Mindmap, powerful doc or wiki are all available for free to use! Six star app!
