CLZ Music CD / Vinyl database

I have been using CLZ Books for over 3 years and finally I decided to install de CLZ Music for my collection of Vinyl records and CD’s I was amazed to find that this app has a lot of places that you can enter the information that you want to include. It makes really a good program , easy to enter the information, even manually since the old vinyl records were manufactured before the barcode system was invented. I also find the support I received is excellent , the reply to any question was good and quick considering the difference in time zone between Australia and the Netherlands. The only regret is that I should have installed the CLZ Music long time ago. I recommend to anybody to give it a go and try this Great App Congratulations

We use CLZ to track a joint vinyl collection and it works brilliantly across multiple devices. Has enough fields for extra data like vinyl colour, numbered editions, etc. and enough of a database to find almost anything by barcode or catalogue number. Also, support is excellent. We messed up the cloud syncing and support gave very clear email directions to solve it within a day (world time zone issues slowed us).

Even though this app has serious issues with boxed sets, I still find it fascinating and sort of useful. It is unfortunate that it is not at all easy to set up content which makes it good at sorting and organising. This app is very good at looking up albums from the internet but unless you are absolutely fastidious it ca turn out to be hopeless at then organising the material. The are ways to set up entry of data but organising things into order requires a religious attention to complete consistency and very careful planning. The potential in this app is certainly there, but the basic requirement to be able to filter by artist first, title second can fail spectacularly. Instead you have to set up boxed sets so that each disk is categorised into only one folder. Each time I think I have fixed it, I mess something up. After hours of patient adjustment I have eventually found it can work. This app makes me look at boxed sets and collections by the same artist and sigh. Get the app and test your potential organisation skills. It is a real challenge for you.

This is an excellent app that has made cataloguing my music collection (including old LPs) very easy. It is also well supported by the developer through regular updates. I also had a need to use their support process and was very pleased by the quick response and resolution to my enquiry.

Best I’ve seen so far tried it before but now is really excellent.

Potentially decent app but it needs an export function as well as read only access/passcode to make changes. Limited use without both. Why would you invest the time and effort into building your database without these functions. Ugliest app icon on the App Store too.

Love being able to add all my music collection - so easy

I love this app. There are quite a few online databases out there for managing your vinyl collection - I chose CLZ because it lets me access online as well as have an offline database that I own. This lets me have control and also lets me access online. I use this when I'm in a store to check if I have a copy of something in the collection - and also for the fun of entering and managing my collection. There are improvements to be made - and the great thing is that they are being made all the time. The support team are great - responsive and clear (and, in my mind, direct and honest). Highly recommend. Given the trial a go if you're not certain. It's worth it.

Been using this invaluable tool for a couple of years now. Makes it much easier to keep track of what I do and don't have. Aside from a couple of unconventional interface choices, use has been trouble free.

This is an excellent way to track your cd collection. Intuitive and and excellent search function. I have over 600 CD's loaded and it so easy to find a particular artist or track or album and then find exactly where in the collection it is.
