CMC: CFD Trading

You need to add the VEAP and Volume to your charts. These technicals are available on the invest platform so why not the CFD. Also, for pro accounts you need to add pre market access like IG does. Currently the CMC platform is not what it could be unfortunately.

Last night, I realise that it was the perfect time to trade an instrument. I needed to deposit money into my account, but I wasn’t sure which was the best option. I called their support, from Australia, and got transferred through to someone in England. He told me that credit card is instant but there is 0.6% surcharge. He told me that PayPal is instant, and bank transfer will take a couple of hours. I tried PayPal, but PayPal wouldn’t work. This is the first time PayPal hasn’t worked, after using it with about 100 different businesses (warning light number one for CMC). I ended up doing the bank transfer, as recommended, and I used POLi pay because it said on the CMC website that it is “real time“. I did the transfer through POLi, it has been 14 hours, and the money still hasn’t come through. As a systematic trader, I look for very specific indicators that are trade will go well. I do an in-depth analysis, which takes time, before I decide if I want to trade or not. I have now I missed the window of opportunity to make this trade, as it is already moved 1.45%. My analysis was a waste of, because the CMC website lies. And honest and informative way to give the details of POLi, would be to say “sometimes real time”. Or a “depending on your bank“. If it says that it’s “real time”, then it should be real time, 24 seven, with every bank transfer. But it’s not, therefore they are liars. And the person I spoke to at the Col Centre in England, had the putrid mindset of liking to have conviction even when they no idea what they’re talking about. he said “it will take a couple of hours”, with the tone of confidence, and he spoke as though like hearing the sound of his own voice. If he was humble with less ego, and cared about the customers, and was more interested in giving accurate information, than pretending to sound like an expert, he would’ve said “I can’t say for sure, I believe it’s a couple of hours, but we don’t have all the info on every bank from every country. You can try it and see what happens, or I suggest to contact your bank to find out more”. If he wasn’t a liar and said that instead, I would’ve chosen the credit card option, and everything would’ve been fine. I’ve called up CMC a few times, and every time I seem to get a young person with the same attitude. Do you like to put on this front of it they have all the answers, but really it’s just uninformed conviction. It’s misleading and wastes time. Whoever runs this company doesn’t have their fing

Ridiculously stupid platform that imposes so many restrictions designed to make you lose your money and too afraid of losing, worst than Casino. The platform also prohibits you from placing orders after and before hours which is convenient for most traders, such restriction is ridiculously stupid, traders understand that there is no trading during those hours so they should still be allowed to place orders just like so many other platforms.

I was trying to trade on the mobile app for the first time and it just keeps closing. Other than that CMC is good on computer.

there system is not stable, not good for big trade. story was i had a $3000 trade open and when i log back in to close it, the account is not able to use my password and i had to go through reset password which took so long and lost the opportunity to close. so i close it at a loss and delete this app. dont recommend for over $1000 deposit

1. If you need to use other app, such as messenger, when you will open this app again, it is closed and you should write your account, passport and open the pictures again. 2. Currently, if you like to use it you should open your location, why? My location change the trading informartion?

Fees is beyond reasonable limits

Maybe even biometrics. Highly frustrating having to go retrieve my google accounts password each time

Difficult to find anything. Not good chart display. Very very stressful app.

I’ll simply state that in the process of selling off my reasonably small initial investment of around $600 on 13 positions, my account was reduced from a profit of +$312 to a loss of -$214. And then, to top it all off, the company is intent on not allowing me to withdraw this paltry sum. Recommendation: Do not use this service; indeed, avoid this entire system — trying something more worthwhile like throwing your money down a well
