Coconote - AI Note Taker

The app is definitely useful in terms of helping me learn lessons that I didn’t exactly understand in class. Although the AI video that they generate could be improved the app is overall very useful, especially the “chat with note” feature. This really allows you to ask questions about the note making it really good. The price is high but what you get in return is high as well. I just wish that the AI video could be somewhat edited or tweaked so that it would cover points of the notes more— somewhat oversimplifies the lesson but is great in helping understand the gist of the lesson but not in depth. Hoping the creator can add a feature like that in the near future! Other than that I really enjoy using this app.

idk if it’s required to put that or what, but the reason why I downloaded it because i need notes for my lessons bc my grades are so low so yeah🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I cannot transfer documents from YouTube half the time

This app is an amazing note taking tool. I’m a law student and it’s often hard to pull the important concepts from the lectures. This app does it for me! All I do is hit record and save. Compared to other note taking apps, this one is worth every penny! I highly recommend it for law students and students in general!

What a revelation! I have to handle a lot of information and talking is much faster than typing… for many reasons. I'm so happy to have Coconote and can't wait for it to record both sides of phone calls.

It is an amazing app and really helps me but many times that I’ve used it it just failed and it was pretty annoying

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP! I agreed to a 7 day free trial on 12/09/24 and realized quickly it would be useless for what I needed. I immediately cancelled the trail and the subscription they force you to make before you can even use the app. Before midnight on 12/09/24, I cancelled everything and on 12/16/24 noticed a charge of $139.41 on my account. When I tried to contact the company, it says Apple is in charge of the subscriptions and I need to contact them. After contacting Apple, I just got a notification that I’m not eligible for the refund I requested AFTER I’d already canceled the free trial and subscription. I no longer trust the App Store or Apple.

Coconote just needs to say this is a pay to use. Says there is a basic offering, but after only one basic audio recording it does not let me do anything else unless I accept a 7 day trial of premium.

This app is amazing in its note taking ability and how it organizes the submitted note. I just Really Want the Scan Text feature to have some sort of way to guide it to an area on the screen to scan. The scanner can be frustrating to use until it settles on the right text to scan. Perhaps add an ability for the user to touch an area on the phone’s screen, to focus the scanner on that area of the screen?
