ColorSnap® Match

Dislike the updates to this app. Prefer the previous version where you could search for a color name or select a color name, then see the similar colors around it. Now if I’m trying to find a color I have to guess which category SW has decided to put it in and search through many of them to hopefully find the color I want.

This use to be so easy to do on my phone. Now I need Bluetooth and additional devices. So disappointing as the old app was easy.

The website does not make it clear about needing to purchase an expensive add on to use the app when the iPhone camera is perfectly adequate and *free*. I love sherwin Williams paint but this is such a scam. I would understand if they had a monthly subscription with a small fee. Missed opportunity- I’m far from the only one who has said something- listen to your customers feedback.

This app used to allow camera access to search colors but now it’s locked behind a paid device you need to purchase. Complete scam.

You are required to buy some expensive device in order to use this. Why not just let people use their phone cameras or upload photos??

It’s very useful this app, but it will make much better, if were allow you to assign or named the colors not just saved them. Also adding nickname.

Totally worth the money, no more taking samples off the wall! I use it for work and for home! I would recommend to any one who paints.

I like how even if it’s not a SW paint, it’ll still get you pretty close to what’s already on the wall, highly recommend, so easy to use

Big fan of this tool and app. Saves me time and helps me organize project colors for my customers. Highly recommend.

Very disappointing. I did realize the device had to be purchased but wanted a custom color for some stucco touch ups. The app will only match to predefined SW colors. Although the store can custom mix to match anything this app and device will not help you with that. The only way I achieved a matching custom color was to take a piece of torn off stucco to the store - exactly what I was trying to avoid. Missed opportunity here
