Cosmos: Curated Inspiration

Such an amazing app

I love this app. Absolutely incredible design and user experience, however my one small issue with it is that if you add an image to a cluster from any view other than the main home feed your scroll position gets reset and sometimes it opens other views. This seems to be most apparent when using the hold and drag to add gesture interaction on the list of images.

It said I was putting in my birthday in the wrong format (mm/dd/yyyy) Despite putting it in correctly, this persisted

I use it for fashion and style inspiration. Likes: The photos are high quality. Ability to filter for photos, videos, links. No visible ads. Albums. Albums with different picture sizes is neat, like a mosaic. Adding to album is easy. Ability to search by color is a cool and very useful concept. I haven’t used any sharing features. Dislikes: The color picker is small for my fingers and imprecise. I need precise colors. Organizing my album makes items disappear; I have to exit the album and go back in to see them. Organizing photos also shifts them weirdly and takes more time. Sometimes I can’t tell the difference between a photo slideshow and navigating the original search results. Suggestions: Add a type-in field for the color picker. More space in description field. Fix bugs.

For months and I am finally able to join yet it says I need to PAY to have a username I’d actually like. On top of that, the app won’t even run without lagging and not loading.

won’t let me make an account, when I put in my date of birth it just says ‘oops try again’

Cosmos is the first app since maybe the original Instagram where it makes my life better instead of worse. See for yourself.

Everytime I go to my Cosmos widget to see what’s new and press the widget it reverts me back to this stupid image two cats on a porch saying, “ I meow you” Instead of sourcing me the image that was just shown. Forever lost. It is pissing me off I am not able to save these images I probably will never see again.

please make this app work faster with less glitch,, it has so much potential !

The social media landscape is at an all time height. Flooded daily with videos and images from across the web, we are constantly bombarded with a insane amount of content. Cosmos is the wildcard pick I have been obsessed with since it’s release. A beautifully designed UI for creatives, and an extremely innovative tool for creating boards and organizing inspiration. Cosmos is not an app like you know. It isn’t about likes or promotion, or any sort of traditional social media interactions. It’s UI stamps Pinterest by a mile. The best part… still early in its development, the team is adding features daily with innovation and odes to creatives across the internet looking for a safe space.
