Pathetic Roll Out
Coutts have truly outdone themselves with the awful roll out of this product. The app was delayed, and when released they couldn’t even muster an iPad native application. Really poor showing.
Too many delays
Takes far to long for the face recognition to load
Hopeless
I have to delete and reinstall the app just to get the desktop authorisation to work. Told Coutts they say yeah we know
Not good enough
Freezes every few days and phone has to be turned on and off. I speak to Coutts 24 on average once every 2 weeks on this since the upgrade.
App is poor
I use three different banking apps and the Coutts one is the worst. Very slow and clunky. Needs improvement
Really Poor App for a Premium Bank
Face recognition is temperamental, some accounts it asks you to call Coutts 24 but when you delete and reinstall the app it fixes (for a week or two). Other banks seem to have online banking nailed, but it appears to be beyond the skill set of Coutts.
iOS18 Failure
The app crashes on opening after upgrading to iOS18. Please fix this urgently
New app poorly designed
In addition to problems with the app noted by others there is a problem with the approval process for online log on that now does not function so I have to ring tech support every time I log in which is ridiculously time consuming. They should have tested this more before releasing it.
Slow
This is so slow to open. It can be up to 20 seconds. My Starling app always opens immediately and is easier to use
