Crochet Studio

I love colour, but find it difficult choosing colours for my designs. Crochet Studio has changed this hurdle for people like myself. You can upload a photo or other image that you like the colours of , then CS will find yarns in similar colours. Or you can browse inspiration palettes within the App & it will find yarns to match. Hopefully further development of the App will contain more yarns, but at this time I just change the yarn Brand for weight that is suitable for my needs & find a similar colour in the app, for example, I’m doing a blanket in Stylecraft chunky, but there aren’t any in the app as yet, so I’ve chose Scheepjes Chunky Monkey & this will now give me the amount of yarn required to make my blanket. Looking forward to seeing more creative items, such as stitches & different yarns. But at the moment it’s my go to App for all my crochet needs. 😍

A really really handy little app for us ‘hookers’ My only request would be to add a few extra patterns, a ripple and C2C option would be great! But that’s just me being fussy 😃

I’ve downloaded this app, but I can’t get any further than selecting yarns part. After that I have to watch an advert which then freezes! I have deleted the app and tried again, still the same outcome. I thought it would be helpful for me to sort out the granny squares blanket I’m working on now.

Every two minutes - adverts for games I won’t download… really annoying!

Oh my goodness, what an amazing app……..inspirational colour palettes, but allows you to create your own, mix and match from different yarn manufacturers, I love it.

I love this app. Makes it so much easier to put colours together and create some wonderful colour sequences that I find the hardest part to do when crocheting. Is there a landscape version which may be easier to use on my iPad? Or maybe there is and I don’t know how to use it

I chose the yarns and pressed save and then they disappeared

I have been using this app to make my granny square patterns. I tend to use womens institute DK wool, which although is not listed, there are plenty of DK colours to nearly match to choose from. The app is intuitive, easy to use and I love the fact you can decided to use US or UK terms (I live in the UK, but US terms make more sense to me 🥰). Tells you exactly how much yarn you need, randomiser is superb for colour placement, and the option to choose a joining colour as a permanent border is a life saver. I am definitely going to subscribe to this app for the year 💛 For the developer, and this purely my preference, to be able to also set the centre colour (like the joining colour) and then have the other colours randomising around those two would be great I.e, if I choose 5 colours, with centre and joining being 1 of those colours, the randomise then only uses the other 4 to create the pattern! Don’t know if that’s possible, but just an idea Keep up the good work guys, you have a superb app and I really hope lots of crafters start using it and give you tons of support Sharon
