I’m rather worried by the removal of audio only podcasts. I know with the old app, if you just listened to the video, it continued to download the video content and used a large amount of data. As I live abroad and have fairly limited data this could easily use up my monthly allowance in a few podcasts. PLEASE!!! Either return the audio only option or even better, add a DOWNLOAD OPTION. Although I am not a programmer this seems like a simple option. This would make the app a hundred times better.

The Apple TV app needs a lot of work to bring it up to the standard expected of such apps these days. Eg, no watchlists, “jump back in” never updates, much minimum functionality absent. A premium subscription price requires a premium app experience. Sub cancelled pending improvements.

Although US focussed, obviously, Ben Shapiro provides me with a rich diet of news and analysis par excellence. I’m entertained and also better educated and informed on subjects ranging from Geopolitics to leftist woke ideology. Can’t recommend highly enough.

It won’t allow mw to resume or continuing watching… I have to search for episode every time and then remember my place! This is only the case on certain devices, while others are fine??

Subscription made in error and unresponsive to refund requests. Content limited and overpriced. Big regrets. Don’t fall for it!

I intend to watch this on my iPad but the screen size of the app isn’t quite right and there’s no landscape support until you press play on the video.

I Like the app. Works as expected.

The app doesn’t allow you to download episodes and listen offline, and they don’t do an unlocked RSS feed for you to use a podcast app of your liking, and the built-in player is just overall bad and outdated. For video content, you can’t AirPlay. It only supports Google’s Chrome “Casting”, and from what I can tell doesn’t even support that well enough.

would be fantastic if you had the choice to sign up through the app, which would make things easier instead of going through the website

Thank you DW team for your good work and great content. I subscribe to support you but I wish the app was a little smoother in a number of ways. I would like to see features where I can bookmark favourite articles to keep them, and a queue/playlist function so I can line up all my favourite podcasts etc and leave them to roll from one into the next so I don’t have to keep getting my phone out to “play next” whilst working, gardening, exercising etc. thanks!
