Loading Screen is holding this back
Everything in this game is amazing. The graphics are simple but aesthetic. The background music is entertaining; the story isn’t the most detailed but it is straightforward. There’s no dilly dallying here, unlike other games. The resource gathering is easy, the extra storage and the simplified storage sorting button is a nice touch. Everything really is fantastic, superb even. But I don’t know what’s happening with the loading screen- it takes a fair amount of time to load. There were moments when I had to restart the game because the loading time was a wee bit ridiculous. If there could be a way to speed this up, I think this would absolutely be a top tier game. Or, maybe if there were a mini game implemented in the loading screen, that would be better than nothing. Nonetheless, the game is very good; it’s just, as the title of the review says: the loading screen time is holding this back from reaching its max potential.
