Décibelomètre est une application qui mesure objectivement et en temps réel le bruit ambiant et les niveaux sonores. Son objectif est d'assurer le contrôle de la pollution sonore et d'ainsi contribuer à la protection de la santé de ses utilisateurs. L'application relève les niveaux sonores en leur attribuant des valeurs quantitatives en décibels. Pour cela, elle utilise différentes mesures sous forme numérique ou graphique.
L'application inclut également un instrument de mesure du niveau sonore entièrement fonctionnel qui permet de mesurer l'exposition de l'utilisateur sur une période donnée, conformément aux normes NIOSH et OSHA (au choix de l'utilisateur)
